Dai Nam University appoints new Vice President

In order to rejuvenate the team of leaders with good expertise, dynamism, and enthusiasm to realize the strategic goals and mission of the University: "Training graduates to have a good life and become good citizens", the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dai Nam University has just signed a Decision to appoint Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thi Lien to hold the position of Vice Principal, Head of the Faculty of Business Administration from November 1, 2022.

At the ceremony to hand over the appointment decision, Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the School Council directed: "The goal and task of the Board of Directors in the new term is to consolidate and enhance the position of Dai Nam University; improve the quality of training and services for learners, and develop a project to develop the School from now until 2030. To achieve that, I request that the Board of Directors continue to promote capacity, be proactive and creative in educational management and administration."

In her inaugural speech as Vice Rector, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thi Lien shared: “I would like to sincerely thank the University Council for entrusting me with this important responsibility. I pledge to wholeheartedly and wholeheartedly work with the leadership team and all staff, lecturers and employees of Dai Nam University to successfully complete the assigned tasks. I look forward to receiving the consensus, cooperation and coordination of teachers on the path to building and developing a strong Dai Nam University...”

Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the School Council presented the decision to appoint Vice Principal and Head of the Faculty of Business Administration to Associate Professor Dr. Pham Thi Lien.

Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thi Lien was born in 1974 in Thanh Hoa. She has many years of experience in management and leadership in the field of education and training. She is a member and head of 03 scientific research projects, 05 textbooks and 39 scientific articles in prestigious domestic and international scientific journals.

Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thi Lien used to be the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management, International School - Vietnam National University, Hanoi; Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, Director of the International Standard Program, University of Economics - Vietnam National University, Hanoi. In addition, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thi Lien used to be a Marketing researcher at Bao Viet Finance - Insurance Group and a consultant at APAVE Vietnam & South East Asia.

Ms. Pham Thi Lien graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from the National Economics University (1995); a Master's degree in Development Economics from the National Economics University and The ISS, Netherlands (1999); and a PhD in Management from Macquarie University, Australia (2010).

I wish Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thi Lien in her new position will continue to promote her intelligence and work experience to successfully complete the assigned tasks, contributing to the continuous development and growth of Dai Nam University.

With the aim of rejuvenating the staff and meeting the development requirements of the University in the new period, Dai Nam University has been and will continue to promote recruitment and training of human resources.
