Dai Nam University "catches the trend" of digital transformation communication by opening a Multimedia Communication major.

With more than 10 years of experience in training in the field of communication and a strategic vision of the development trends as well as the huge demand for human resources of the Multimedia Communications industry in the era of the 4.0 industrial revolution, Dai Nam University has developed a project to open this major and submitted it to the Ministry of Education and Training for approval. After the process of assessing the capacity of educational institutions and training programs, Dai Nam University has been officially permitted to train full-time undergraduate degrees in Multimedia Communications from the 2021-2022 school year. Hot majors attract students
With the development of Digital technology, the media industry has changed from the means, the way of transmitting, receiving and responding to information. Previously, the public could only receive information in the form of reading/watching/listening... but now they can simultaneously receive writing, images, sounds, graphics on the same product very vividly. That is Multimedia communication, a new type of communication, contributing to the integration of commerce, business organizations, cultures, identities and beliefs of countries.
Multimedia products are widely used in all fields and professions: Culture, education, economics, politics, arts, entertainment, tourism... leading to a huge demand for human resources in this industry.
With such appeal, Multimedia Communications has attracted a large number of young people to register for this major. According to statistics of the first choice (NV1) of 15 out of 24 majors enrolled in 2021 by the Department of Higher Education - Ministry of Education and Training, comparing the ratio of NV1/quota, the Journalism and Information major (311.65%) ranked 2nd in the Top hottest majors, with the most candidates registered, only after the National Security and Defense major (566.82%).
