Dai Nam University grants 100% and 50% tuition scholarships to hundreds of K13 students

The President of Dai Nam University has just signed a decision to grant scholarships for the first semester of the 2019-2020 school year to 98 students of the 13th course, full-time university system, whose entrance exam scores meet the school's regulations according to two admission methods (based on national high school exam scores and academic transcript scores).
Accordingly, 10 students received 100% tuition scholarships and 88 students received 50% tuition scholarships.
Sharing about the policy of granting scholarships to students with high entrance exam scores, Mr. Luong Cao Dong - Principal of Dai Nam University said: "DNU's scholarships were approved by the Chairman of the Board of Directors in September 2017. After 3 years of implementation, the Scholarship Fund has awarded scholarships worth billions of VND, providing opportunities to enter university for hundreds of poor students with good academic achievements across the country; improving the quality of input; creating motivation to study, igniting the passion for learning and scientific research in Dai Nam University students..."
Not only will they receive the entrance scholarship, these students will continue to receive the scholarship at the same level as in the first semester if they achieve an average semester score of 8.0 or higher (only counting the first exam score) in the following semesters of the course. In case a student has an average semester score lower than 8.0 (only counting the first exam score), from that semester to the following semesters, they will not receive the scholarship but will still be considered for the scholarship under the school's annual scholarship program.

K13 students who receive 100% tuition scholarship are students with high entrance scores of 24 points or higher for the option of using national high school exam results; 27 points or higher for the option of using grade 12 study results, and the total score of the national high school exam according to the admission combination is 21 points or higher for Pharmacy, 19 points or higher for the remaining majors.
Students who receive a 50% tuition scholarship are those with an admission score of 22 points or higher for the option of using the results of the national high school exam; 25 points or higher for the option of using the results of grade 12 studies, and a total score of the national high school exam according to the admission combination of 20 points or higher for Pharmacy, 18 points or higher for the remaining majors.
