Practical activities have long been a “specialty” of Dai Nam University in general and the Faculty of Communication in particular. Practical activities are focused on and promoted by the Faculty from the very first semesters of students. Studying at the Faculty of Communication at Dai Nam University, students have practical experience at many different models of agencies and businesses. Through field trips, students will have the most authentic answers to many questions about the profession they are studying.

In-house departments at businesses - what are they doing?

Small and medium-sized enterprises are the target of many communications graduates. Therefore, the need to learn about communications activities in businesses of this size in different industries is very necessary.

For each specific subject, through practical activities, students of the Faculty of Communication have access to the in-house department of the enterprise in various professional activities such as: internal communication, press relations, community activities, crisis management, brand management, event organization, etc.

Through practical learning at the enterprise, in addition to understanding the communication activities at the enterprise, students are also shared by the enterprise with situations and solutions that occur in reality, from which they have personal comments and analysis to better understand the knowledge they have learned. In addition, students also have their questions about the profession answered such as: the salary that the enterprise is paying to young employees; the workload and tasks they are undertaking; what the enterprise wants for young employees; the thoughts and feelings of the employees working at the enterprise... thereby helping students visualize a true and clear portrait of themselves right after leaving university.

What do media agencies need from young staff?

According to a survey conducted at the DNU Faculty of Communication, the proportion of students wishing to work in media agencies is quite large. With the desire to work in a dynamic environment, interact with many customers from many different industries and experience implementing a variety of media services, agencies are the destination after graduation of many young people studying communication.

At each agency, although with different specialties, they all have the same requirements for students: passion, dedication, acumen, thinking ability and good use of tools.

What opportunities are there for Communication students in multimedia press agencies?

The field trip to the office of Nong Thon Ngay Nay newspaper aims to help students gain practical knowledge about the production process of multimedia journalism products.

During the practical participation, the management staff, reporters, editors, and technicians of the editorial office will share practical experiences and guide students in practicing the production of professional multimedia press products. This is also the training motto of the School and the Faculty in enhancing practice and reality for students.

Communication students are well-trained in theory, specialized in practical activities, have high sensitivity and quick style, enthusiasm for work and can take on many different positions in press agencies, such as: reporter, editor, cameraman, film editor, technician, choreographer, etc.

With rich practical activities at many different agencies and businesses, students of Communication at Dai Nam University gain diverse experiences and multi-dimensional perspectives on the profession they choose, and at the same time, it is a stepping stone to make decisions for their specific professional development direction in the future.
