On the morning of November 20, Dai Nam University officially received the Certificate of Educational Institution Quality Assessment, becoming the 23rd university out of 60 non-public universities to meet educational institution quality assessment standards and the 8th university to be recognized according to the new assessment standards of the Ministry of Education and Training.

The ceremony to announce the decision and award the Certificate of Educational Institution Quality Assessment to Dai Nam University was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Center for Educational Quality Assessment - Association of Vietnamese Universities and Colleges, the Board of Directors, the Board of Directors and all officers, lecturers and staff of Dai Nam University.

Since its inception, Dai Nam University has advocated affirming its reputation and brand through the quality of training that combines learning with practice, linking training with reality and the human resource needs of society. In addition to gradually investing in facilities; building updated and modern training programs; selecting a team of excellent staff and lecturers; building a professional, modern and dynamic learning environment to help learners develop comprehensively, Dai Nam University pays special attention to quality assessment according to the Ministry of Education and Training's standards.

Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dai Nam University spoke at the ceremony.

Accordingly, in 2016, Dai Nam University completed the Self-Assessment Report of educational institutions according to the Regulations on standards for assessing the quality of higher education institutions issued by the Ministry of Education and Training on March 4, 2014. Based on the Regulations on accreditation of higher education institutions issued on May 19, 2017 by the Ministry of Education and Training, Dai Nam University has rebuilt the Self-Assessment Report according to new standards.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Chief of Office of the Center for Education Quality Assessment - Association of Vietnamese Universities and Colleges read the Decision on recognition and awarded the certificate of educational quality assessment to Dai Nam University.

Under the direction of the Board of Directors, the Board of Management and the determination and consensus of the staff, lecturers and employees in the school, after nearly 500 days and nights without rest, Dai Nam University has completed the Self-Assessment Report to submit to the Ministry of Education and Training, and is allowed to sign an External Assessment Contract with the Center for Education Quality Assessment - Association of Vietnamese Universities and Colleges; completed the preliminary and official assessment process with good results; officially became the 23rd non-public university to complete the assessment of educational quality and the 8th university to complete the assessment according to the new standards of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Representatives of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Center for Educational Quality Assessment awarded the Certificate of Educational Institution Quality Assessment to Dai Nam University.

Sharing with us, Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dai Nam University said: "Dai Nam University has conducted accreditation with a set of 25 standards including 111 criteria, divided into 4 categories: Ensuring quality in strategy; Ensuring quality in system; Ensuring quality in performing functions and Operational results. With all efforts, Dai Nam has completed the accreditation process according to the new standards of the Ministry of Education and Training".

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Le My Phong - Deputy Director of the Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training, acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of Dai Nam University, and directed the Board of Directors and the Board of Management of the University to continue to pay more attention to quality assurance.

“This is an important milestone in the next development journey of Dai Nam University. With 23/25 criteria being assessed as strengths, I hope Dai Nam University will continue to promote its strengths and overcome its limitations to continue to develop sustainably in the future…”, Dr. Le My Phong directed.

Dr. Le My Phong - Deputy Director of the Department of Quality Management representing the Ministry of Education and Training gave a speech at the ceremony.

In particular, with the recognized quality assessment results, according to the provisions of the 2018 revised Law on Higher Education, Dai Nam University officially has the right to autonomy in opening majors, determining enrollment targets and implementing joint training programs...
