Dai Nam University organizes video creation contest - Tet at home

Sharing Tet activities partly reflects the colorful life of Dai Nam students across the country. At the same time, it is also a bond connecting the DNU student community in the situation of not being able to go to school to meet friends and teachers.

The contest "Tet at home" along with other online contests organized by the Faculty of Communication, hopes to bring students more attachment and love for their beloved DNU family.

Participating as judges of the competition are actor, MC, TV Editor Nguyen Dan Le and Director Nguyen Hong Viet , Head of Content Department 5, Cable TV Editorial Board, winner of the Golden Kite Award for Documentary Film, Excellent Director in 2021. The participation of the two judges above not only highly appreciated the professional quality of the competition, but also a media opportunity for the Faculty of Communication.

II. CONTEST RULES

1. Contest format:

“Tet Nha Minh” is a video creation contest organized by the Faculty of Communication, Dai Nam University, posted on the Faculty of Communication fanpage.

All students of Dai Nam University and all young people who love creating videos

1. Contest entry content:

• The work is a video under 3 minutes recording the Tet activities in the author's hometown to reflect the most unique features of the hometown and student families in the Tet celebration activities: Welcoming Ong Cong Ong Tao, preparing to decorate the house, Tet feasts, New Year's Eve moments, the first days of spring to wish relatives and friends a happy New Year, etc. expressing the joy and excitement of the coming of Tet, festivals, traditional games of the hometown or simply the author's personal feelings that he wants to share with friends about his special Tet holiday.
• Video entries must have a title, accompanied by a description of less than 100 words about the video created.

1. Contest rules:

• Contest videos must not exceed 3 minutes in length (animated images, still images, commentary, music, sound, etc.)
• Entries can be made in groups or individually.
• Technical specifications: 16*9 horizontal frame, full HD quality 1920*1080, MP4 file output
• The work must be the work of the author. Each author is responsible for the copyright/work. In case the Organizing Committee discovers duplicate works, all such works will be disqualified.
• Contest content does not violate Vietnamese customs, laws, and culture.
• Contest videos are used by the Faculty of Communication for archiving and communication purposes.
• Recording and editing equipment: videos can be recorded with mobile phones, professional and non-professional cameras/camcorders...
• Do not cheat or use fake accounts to interact. In case the Organizing Committee detects signs of cheating, the results will be immediately canceled.

7.1 Preliminary round criteria: select 20 candidates according to the criteria:

- 40% based on interactions

- 60% based on judges' assessment

7.2 Final round criteria:

The judges will select the 20 most highly rated entries to win the prize (No submission or interaction required)
