Dai Nam University plans to conduct additional recruitment until October 25

With diverse admission methods and proactive admission in many rounds, Dai Nam University has enrolled 70% of its target for 15 training majors. This year, Dai Nam University's admission score is considered equivalent to most public schools in the Hanoi area, with the health sector having a threshold to ensure input quality according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. After October 10, if there are still quotas, Dai Nam University will consider additional admissions according to both methods (grade 12 transcripts and 2020 high school graduation exam scores). The additional admission period is expected to last until 5:00 p.m. on October 25, 2020.

Thousands of university candidates completed admission procedures for the first batch of 2020 into 15 training majors of Dai Nam University.

In the 2020-2021 school year, Dai Nam University enrolls 1,820 full-time university students in 15 majors in 04 training blocks, including: Health (Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing); Economics (Business Administration, Tourism, Accounting, Finance - Banking, Law); Engineering (Information Technology, Construction); Social Sciences & Humanities (Public Relations and Communications, English Language, Chinese Language and Culture, Korean Language and Culture, Oriental Studies - Japanese major) according to two forms of admission, considering grade 12 transcripts and high school graduation exam scores.

Many training majors of Dai Nam University have filled their enrollment quotas on the first day of admission.

With the admission method of considering grade 12 transcripts according to a combination of 03 subjects, candidates need to have an average score of 18 points or higher. Particularly for the Health sector, it is necessary to comply with the quality assurance threshold of the Ministry of Education and Training. Specifically: For the Medicine and Pharmacy sectors, candidates need to have a grade 12 academic performance classified as excellent and a total score of 03 subjects according to the admission combination of 24 points or higher. For the Nursing sector, candidates must have a grade 12 academic performance classified as fair or higher and a total score of 03 subjects according to the admission combination of 19.5 points or higher.

With the admission method based on the 2020 high school graduation exam scores, the admission score for Medicine is 22 points, Pharmacy is 21 points, Nursing is 19 points and the remaining majors are 15 points.

Candidates who are admitted by considering high school exam scores will receive a notice and a phone call notifying them of their admission from Dai Nam University. The time for confirming admission and enrollment starts from 8:00 a.m. on October 5 to 5:00 p.m. on October 10, 2020. Candidates can submit their application directly or send it by express mail to the school at the address of the Admissions Office - Dai Nam University, campus 56 Vu Trong Phung - Thanh Xuan - Hanoi.

Accordingly, when the second admission period ends, if there are still quotas, Dai Nam University will conduct additional admissions according to both admission methods, from high to low, until the quota is met. It is expected that the additional admissions period will start from October 11 to 25, 2020.
