Dai Nam University signed a cooperation agreement with the Central Institute for Drug Testing

With the signed training cooperation agreement, students of Pharmacy at Dai Nam University will be able to visit and practice at the Drug Testing Department; receive guidance from leading experts in the field of medicine for their graduation thesis, scientific research projects and have the opportunity to apply for jobs at the drug quality assurance department, drug quality inspection and monitoring units nationwide.
Attending the Signing Ceremony, on behalf of Dai Nam University, there were: Dr. Luong Cao Dong - Principal of the University, Dr. Nguyen Thi Vinh Hue - Head of Pharmacy Faculty, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Minh - Head of Analysis Department, and lecturers of Pharmacy Faculty, Dai Nam University.
On the side of the Central Institute for Drug Control, there were: Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Cao Son - Director, along with leaders and officers in charge of a number of Departments, Offices and Centers of the Institute.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Cao Son pledged to create favorable conditions for students of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dai Nam University to visit, practice and experience the drug testing laboratory currently taking place at the Institute. At the same time, Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Cao Son hopes that in the coming time, the University and the Institute can expand cooperation in scientific research, scientific information, experience exchange, etc.
“I hope that with the profound knowledge of the teachers of Dai Nam University, together with the facilities and practical experience of the Institute, students will master the inspection system as well as basic technical methods so that after graduation, they can easily catch up with the work without spending much time on retraining,” said Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Cao Son.

Representing Dai Nam University, Dr. Luong Cao Dong hopes that the cooperation between the University and the Central Institute for Drug Control will contribute to opening up new development directions for students majoring in Pharmacy; at the same time, maximizing the potential of both sides for mutual development.
“Pharmacy is one of the key majors at Dai Nam University. The school always wants to enhance the experience by taking students on field trips, experiences and internships at pharmaceutical companies, pharmaceutical factories, etc. However, the students' ability to 'hold hands-on' and practice is still low. Therefore, through the signing ceremony of cooperation with the Central Institute for Drug Testing, I really hope that students will have the opportunity to practice and approach the work here. With the help and facilitation of the Institute, I hope that after graduation, students of Pharmacy at Dai Nam University will meet the requirements of businesses and immediately start working”, said Dr. Luong Cao Dong.
Dr. Luong Cao Dong has high expectations for the signing of the cooperation agreement between Dai Nam University and the Central Institute for Drug Control.
After discussing related contents, representatives of Dai Nam University and the Central Institute for Drug Testing agreed to sign a Framework Cooperation Agreement with basic contents on training activities and receiving students for visits and internships.

Also at the signing ceremony, Dai Nam University visited some Faculties and specialized centers of the Institute, such as: Faculty of Microbiology, Faculty of Raw Material Testing, Faculty of Oriental Medicine - Medicinal Materials Testing... With modern equipment, technical expertise, professional working attitude as well as the role of the Institute in the Vietnamese Pharmaceutical industry system, the delegation of Dai Nam University felt very secure when participating in studying and researching at the Institute.
Delegation of Dai Nam University visited the Faculty of Oriental Medicine and Medicinal Materials Testing.
According to Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Cao Son, all university pharmacists after graduation have the opportunity to take the entrance exam to the Central Institute for Drug Testing. If they pass the civil servant exam, students of Dai Nam University will be able to become staff and work at the Institute.
