Dai Nam University solemnly held a ceremony to honor teachers on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2022

On the morning of November 15, Dai Nam University solemnly held a ceremony to honor teachers on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20, honoring outstanding cadres, lecturers and staff in the 15-year journey of building and developing Dai Nam University. The ceremony took place in a solemn, warm and emotional atmosphere; leaving deep emotions and impressions on everyone.

Attending the Gratitude Ceremony, on behalf of Dai Nam University, there were: Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the University Council; Mr. Do Quan - Vice Chairman of the University Council; Mr. Le Dac Lam - Member of the University Council; Mr. Doan Hong Nam - Member of the University Council; Board of Directors and all officers, lecturers and staff of the university.

On the guest side, there were: Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Duc - former Vice President of Vietnam National University, Hanoi; Dr. Karl Markgraf - Director of International Programs, University of Minnesota.

03 criteria for Dai Nam University to break through to become a Top university in Vietnam

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Le Dac Son expressed his gratitude and sincere congratulations to generations of cadres, lecturers and staff who have contributed to the education and development of Dai Nam University.

Dr. Le Dac Son shares his aspiration: To make Dai Nam University a top university in the Vietnamese education system.

Dr. Le Dac Son said that over the past 15 years, Dai Nam University has always been steadfast in its mission: "Training students to have a good life and be good citizens after graduation" . The previous generations of cadres, lecturers and staff, with their experience, knowledge and dedication, are a solid foundation to help the University develop sustainably in depth. Continuing and inheriting that tradition, the current generation of cadres, lecturers and staff with their youth, enthusiasm, dynamism, creativity, unity, comradeship and consensus continue to promote Dai Nam University to develop strongly, meeting the requirements of the integration trend.

“From the very first days of its establishment, I have always had the aspiration to make Dai Nam University a top university in the Vietnamese education system. Until now, that aspiration is still burning within me…”

Dr. Le Dac Son emphasized: From now until 2030 is a "golden opportunity" for Dai Nam University to break through, turn aspirations into reality, and become a top university in Vietnam.

To realize the above aspiration, Dr. Le Dac Son proposed 3 criteria for the staff, lecturers and employees of the School. The first is the consensus and shared aspiration of the entire system. The second is the capacity and will of the entire team. The third is the spirit of internal solidarity.

“I believe that, with the aspiration, consensus, solidarity and efforts of the University Council, the Board of Directors and the team of more than 800 cadres, lecturers and employees, Dai Nam University can completely become a top university in the Vietnamese higher education system by 2030. In the coming time, the University will gradually innovate in training so that graduates can start their own businesses and have high incomes…”, Dr. Le Dac Son affirmed.

Honoring outstanding individuals in the 15-year journey of Dai Nam University

At the ceremony, Dr. Le Dac Son and Mr. Do Quan presented the Commemorative Medal to 15 outstanding cadres, lecturers and staff in the 15-year journey of Dai Nam University. These are people who have been with the University since its inception; people who, no matter how difficult the circumstances, have stood side by side to overcome them without demanding any special treatment, always carrying the idea: When the water rises, the duckweed rises.

Dr. Le Dac Son and Mr. Do Quan presented Commemorative Medals to 15 outstanding cadres, lecturers and staff in the 15-year journey of Dai Nam University.

As one of the veteran leaders of Dai Nam University, Associate Professor, Dr. Phan Trong Phuc - Former Principal could not help but be moved when being honored. He shared: “After 13 years of working, I am truly happy and proud to contribute part of my strength to the construction and development of a strong Dai Nam University. I believe that, with the efforts, unity and consensus of the University Council, the Board of Directors and all staff, lecturers and employees; in the future, Dai Nam University will become a Top university in the Vietnamese education system as the aspiration of the Chairman of the University Council”.

Associate Professor, Dr. Phan Trong Phuc expressed his happiness and pride in contributing to the construction and development of Dai Nam University.

Dr. Le The Anh – Head of the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing also expressed: “Working at Dai Nam University is a fate for me. In the past 15 years, I have never felt like I was working for someone else, I just feel happy when I go to school every day. The leadership of Dai Nam University has built a united and friendly environment for teachers to freely work and create the best for students…”

More than 800 DNU staff, lecturers and employees learn about the "University model of entrepreneurship and innovation"

In a joyful and exciting atmosphere, with the participation of all staff, lecturers and employees, the University invited Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Duc - former Vice President of Hanoi National University to discuss and share on the topic "University model of entrepreneurship and innovation".
