Dai Nam University Student Volunteer Team meets more than 200 new collaborators

On September 21, the Student Volunteer Team organized a meeting for new collaborators of K17. The program was not only an opportunity for K17 to understand more about the Team but also an opportunity to interact and enjoy colorful performances.

The Student Volunteer Team under the Executive Board of the School Youth Union was established along with the process of building and developing Dai Nam University. Over the past 15 years, the Youth Union in general and the Student Volunteer Team in particular have continuously made efforts, operated enthusiastically and effectively, contributing to the overall development of the school.

The Student Volunteer Team is like a family, a common home for students who love volunteer activities, public service activities, and are ready to bring their youthful enthusiasm to contribute to society and the community.

More than 200 K17 students were selected to become collaborators of the Student Volunteer Team.

In the 2023-2024 school year, after recruiting and interviewing nearly 300 K17 students who wished to join the Dai Nam University Student Volunteer Team, the Team Management Board selected more than 200 students who passed the interview round to become collaborators.

This is the first meeting between the collaborators and the Student Volunteer Team Management Board. At the meeting, the new collaborators are introduced to the Team, its rules, and participate in group activities and work assignments.

Mr. Vu Dang Tuan Anh - Secretary of the Youth Union of Dai Nam University shared about the meaning of volunteer activities with the "new recruits".

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Youth Union of Dai Nam University Vu Dang Tuan Anh shared: "Volunteer activities are not something far away, but help yourself to become more mature, help your family from the lessons learned in the experiential trips, help your friends to grow together, and support the school to develop together". He also advised: "Young people should be passionate and passionate, but do not forget to put yourself in the framework and rules of the collective" .

Nearly 200 new K17 recruits promise to be a force of enthusiastic and passionate young volunteers contributing to the development of the school and the community. After the meeting, the new K17 collaborators will undergo a 3-month probationary period with activities of the Student Volunteer Team to become official members of the Team.
