Deepest wishes from the Vice President of Dai Nam University Council on International Nursing Day and the birthday of the Faculty of Nursing

The care and concern of a nurse is a spiritual medicine that helps soothe the pain, giving the patient more confidence and motivation to live. Congratulations to you for choosing a noble and humane profession with many career opportunities! Congratulations to your family for having, having and will have a good nurse in the medical team to care for and protect people's health. Congratulations to the Nursing Faculty of Dai Nam University on its 7th anniversary and on the path of strong development…” That was the sharing of Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Dai Nam University at the ceremony to celebrate International Nursing Day and the birthday of the Nursing Faculty, on the morning of May 12.

Attending the program, on behalf of Dai Nam University, there were: Representatives of the Board of Directors; leaders of Departments, Offices, Faculties, Institutes, Centers; and all staff, lecturers and students of the Nursing Faculty.

On the partner side, there are: Mr. Quan Truong Son - Director of the Training and Command Center of Central Psychiatric Hospital I; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai Tam - Executive Director of Vinh Phuc High-Tech Joint Stock Company; Ms. Tran Thi Hong Nhung - Head Nurse of Ha Dong General Hospital.

Striving for the Nursing Faculty of Dai Nam University to reach new heights

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Cao Thi Hoa congratulated and expressed gratitude to the nurses, teachers and students of the Nursing Department. At the same time, she congratulated the Nursing Department of Dai Nam University on officially turning 7 years old.

Ms. Cao Thi Hoa advised Nursing students to study hard to have the best mindset and knowledge; to have a good job after graduation and become useful citizens.

“The Faculty of Nursing is the second child in the Dai Nam University family, but it is a major in the core training axis of Health; it receives special attention and development from the University Council and the Board of Directors. Up to now, the Faculty of Nursing has made great strides in training programs, teaching staff, and students who are well-evaluated and trusted by businesses and hospitals to recruit. With that mindset, the Faculty of Nursing of Dai Nam University is able to compete with other educational institutions in the field of Nursing, providing high-quality human resources for the Vietnamese health system.”

Ms. Cao Thi Hoa also gave special advice to the Nursing students: “To become good nurses, with good medical ethics and international integration; requires you to make continuous efforts to study. If you want to receive, you have to sacrifice, nothing is free. The school always creates the best conditions for you to study. Teachers will be the extended arm of the school, teaching you wholeheartedly.”

Ms. Cao Thi Hoa, representing the Board of Directors, presented gifts to celebrate the Nursing Faculty's birthday.

Mr. Le Van Duy - Head of Nursing Faculty said: In recent times, the Nursing Faculty has always strived to innovate the training program according to international standards; increase the duration of nursing skills practice by double that of other schools nationwide; the skillslab practical training system is organized systematically, tested by the modern OSCE method (running stations); improve the quality of lecturers, enhance scientific research for lecturers and students, ...

“The goal of the Faculty of Nursing is to become a trusted address and the first choice of parents and students. Although the road ahead is difficult and full of obstacles, the teachers and students of the Faculty of Nursing are determined to overcome and achieve the above goal by the 10th anniversary,” affirmed Mr. Duy.

Mr. Le Van Duy is committed to bringing the Nursing Department of Dai Nam University to new heights.

Enterprises are ready to accept Dai Nam Nursing students immediately after graduation.

Mr. Quan Truong Son expressed his gratitude to Dai Nam University and the Nursing Faculty for choosing the Central Psychiatric Hospital as a practical training facility for students. Through this, the Hospital has been able to participate in training activities and find high-quality human resources.

Mr. Quan Truong Son presented flowers to congratulate International Nursing Day and the birthday of the Nursing Department.

As a lecturer who has been with the Faculty since its inception, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Ha - Head of the Department of Basic Nursing could not hide her emotions when attending the Faculty's 7th birthday: "I am extremely happy to be a member of the Faculty of Nursing at Dai Nam University. Here, I can do the job I love, exchange and learn many things. The teachers, whether old or young, are all kind, love their jobs and are dedicated to their training career. I hope that the Faculty of Nursing will grow in both quantity and quality. Nursing students at Dai Nam University will become important factors in the Vietnamese and international health system."

Ms. Thanh Ha is happy to teach at Dai Nam University, contributing to the training of future nurses.

Duong Anh Ha - a student of Nursing class 14.02 expressed: “Since entering Dai Nam University, my teachers have kindled in me a strong love for the Nursing profession. That love has been nurtured every day, every hour during the 3 years of training at the school. I am grateful to my teachers for their dedicated guidance and instruction; I am grateful to myself for choosing Nursing. I am happy and proud to say that I am a Nursing student at Dai Nam University”.

On behalf of the Nursing faculty students, Duong Anh Ha promises to voluntarily comply with the school's rules and regulations; to master professional skills to become worthy nurses who are "well-versed in medical ethics, profound in medical theory, and good at medical techniques", contributing to the construction and development of the healthcare career for Vietnamese people.
