DNU Finance and Banking Faculty “holds hands and guides” students

With the aim of training and developing people comprehensively; graduates can work in any business environment, Dai Nam University pays special attention to training knowledge, skills and experience. Based on that policy, Dai Nam University has invested in and built a Finance - Banking and Accounting - Auditing Practice Center so that students majoring in Finance - Banking and Accounting can practice and gain practical experience, improve their knowledge and practice working skills right at school.

Overcoming the “frozen” period, Finance – Banking is still one of the economic sectors with the highest growth rate in Vietnam in recent years. The recovery of the economy, along with Vietnam joining ACE, TPP… is a “golden” opportunity for the Finance – Banking sector to continue to develop strongly in the future.

Nguyen Thi Thu Trang - Lecturer of the Faculty of Finance - Banking, Dai Nam University said: In any economic context, Finance - Banking is still a necessary profession because in the micro field it is related to the monetary circulation services of the economy; in the macro field, Finance - Banking plays a role in guiding the monetary policy strategy.
“Finance – Banking is a field of study that has never been out of HOT. The return of Finance – Banking, especially in the context of the 4.0 industrial revolution , this field of study has even more opportunities for development …”, MSc. Nguyen Thi Thu Trang affirmed.

Students of the Faculty of Finance and Banking, Dai Nam University, are active and proactive in their learning process at the Practice Center.
The above attractive positions allow students of Finance - Banking to work in many different agencies and enterprises besides banks. These are commercial banks, securities companies, non-bank credit institutions, state management agencies of finance - banking and other types of enterprises...
“ However, to take advantage of and grasp development opportunities, Finance - Banking training institutions must constantly change their training programs so that students can both learn knowledge, learn professional skills, and gain practical experience… That is a huge challenge for training institutions,” said MSc. DNU Finance - Banking students get "hands-on training"
In order to expand and improve the quality of training, internship and scientific research for lecturers and students; to help students of the Faculty of Finance - Banking and the Faculty of Accounting confidently apply for jobs and quickly catch up with job requirements after graduation, Dai Nam University has invested in building the Center for Practice of Finance - Banking and Accounting - Auditing.
The Finance – Banking and Accounting – Auditing Practice Center is designed to suit the current trends of Vietnamese society and economy. Here, the Faculty of Finance – Banking has built a practical training model, allowing students to experience transactions, situations and practice expertise and profession with a modern infrastructure system.
In addition, students of the Faculty of Finance and Banking of Dai Nam University are also trained in courage and the ability to self-study when encountering new problems; confront and respond sensitively, solve problems when risks arise related to finance and currency through hypothetical situations.

Students of the Faculty of Finance and Banking are very interested in practical learning at the Center.
MSc. Nguyen Thi Thu Trang shared: “ The training program at the Practice Center is to supplement necessary skills and expertise, and consolidate the amount of specialized theoretical knowledge. After accumulating knowledge and completing the course load of the industry, students can quickly approach future career requirements.”
“ After the internship at the enterprise, we will return to school to practice at the Center to consolidate our knowledge and practice. Here, the teachers will guide us to learn more about the laws and policies on State Finance, methods of handling situations, problems and many other practical skills and operations ”, said Tran Hong Nhung - K9 student, Faculty of Finance - Banking, Dai Nam University.
With the goal of training and developing comprehensive human resources, the training program of the Faculty of Finance and Banking of Dai Nam University is built in the direction of providing knowledge, teaching skills, and creating opportunities for students to experience. The training program framework is designed to combine modern knowledge and specific issues of the working environment. It is known that one of the key innovations to improve the training quality of the Faculty will be to innovate the training program and change the graduation thesis defense program.
Accordingly, after the process of experience and accumulation, students will be able to defend their Graduation Thesis based on a generalization and presentation according to a Mindmap, helping students to be more proactive in learning and promote their creativity. This innovation is considered a pivotal stage for Finance - Banking students of Dai Nam University to keep up with the trend of developing high-quality human resources in the fintech era.
