DNU organizes online contest "DNU Moments" with total prize up to 16 million VND to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the school's founding.

With the desire to record beautiful, emotional moments at Dai Nam University through different perspectives, recalling memories of teachers and students through generations, aiming at the 15th Anniversary of the school's founding (November 14, 2017 - November 14, 2022) and welcoming Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20; Dai Nam University launched an online photo and short video contest "DNU Moments" with a total prize value of up to 16 million VND.

Specifically:

I. TIME AND FORM OF ORGANIZATION

1. Time for receiving entries:

• From now until 23:59 on November 5, 2022.

2. Voting time:

• From 07/11/2022 to 17:00 on 10/11/2022

3. Exam format:

• The contest is held online on the school's official fanpage and tiktok channel.

II. PARTICIPANTS

• All staff and lecturers of Dai Nam University, including guest lecturers
• Former staff and lecturers who once worked at the school.
• Students of all courses currently studying at the school.
• Alumni of the school's graduating classes.

III. CONTEST TOPICS AND METHODS

1. Topic:

• The entry shows one of the impressive moments of people, activities and landscapes of Dai Nam during 15 years of formation and development.

2. How to enter the contest:

IV. RULES

1. General requirements:

• Contest entries include 01 photo/video with the following content:

+ Review of space and learning/working environment at Dai Nam University

+ The place associated with your memorable memories at Dai Nam University.

+ Memorable moments and memories during your time working/studying at the school.

+ Character (staff, lecturer, employee or student) that left a deep impression on you during your time working/studying at the school

+ Encourage videos of everyday images, humor, and emotions for viewers.

• The Organizing Committee is not responsible in case the contestant's entry is deleted by TikTok or Facebook due to violating community standards.
• Dai Nam University is allowed to use the entries for promotional purposes and brand development without asking for permission or paying any fees.
• The decision of the Organizing Committee is final.

2. Photo contest categories:

a, Content requirements

• Attach a photo with a caption that says: Tell about that memorable moment or memory or express your love for Dai Nam University (no more than 180 words).

b, Technical regulations

• Photos clearly convey the content to be conveyed
• Photos can be taken from cameras, mobile phones.
• Contest photos must be digital, in jpg or png format; photo size must be larger than 2MB. HD resolution
• Each photo cannot be a composite of multiple photos.
• Contest photos must be appropriate to Vietnamese customs and culture; and must not violate Vietnamese law. Products with inappropriate content and quality will be eliminated from the first round.

c, Scoring rules:

• The Organizing Committee compiles and selects the entries and posts them on the fanpage "Dai Nam University"
• How to calculate points

Total score = (1) Jury vote score + (2) entry reach score

(1) Jury's voting score = Jury's voting score * 70%

(2) Contest entry reach score = total reach * 30%

• Voting form:

Step 1: Like Dai Nam University fanpage.

Step 2: Like and share your favorite contest entry to increase the reach of the article.

d, Other regulations

• Article reach parameters are calculated according to parameters provided by Facebook and only count data on Dai Nam University Fanpage.
• Contestants participating in the contest are considered to have agreed to all rules and regulations and agreed to all decisions of the Organizing Committee.

3. Short Video Competition Category

a, Content requirements:

• Short video caption (no more than 30 words)
• Clip content is correct according to the topic registered with the organizer
• Clip does not have TikTok logo (Recommended to edit clip with Capcut app, similar to TikTok and does not have TikTok logo).
• Accept entries that are previously recorded Tiktok videos that have not been submitted to any other contest.
• Candidates will be responsible in case the Organizing Committee discovers any violations of regulations or fraud in the voting method.

b, Technical requirements:

• Duration: Minimum 30s and maximum 60s;
• HD videos must be 720p or higher, with a 9x16 aspect ratio. Videos must be created on the TikTok platform. It is recommended to use audio clips available on TikTok to ensure copyright;
• The video uses visual and sound effects;
• Videos can be recorded with phones, cameras, camcorders, flycams, etc. If recorded with phones, they must be recorded vertically on the screen.
• Contest videos must not contain political or religious elements and must comply with Vietnamese customs and laws.

c, Scoring rules

• Exam score = (1) 50% score by the Board of Judges + (2) 50% score from interaction on tiktok channel

(1) The judges' scores are based on the following criteria:

• Idea: 50%
• Content: 40%
• Video quality: 10%
• Bonus points for videos with good visual effects.

(2) Voting points are calculated:

• 1 heart = 1 point (On tiktok platform)
• 1 share = 1 point (On tiktok platform)
• According to the scoring time mentioned above, the Organizing Committee will count the total number of likes and shares of the participants. Then, convert them into points and arrange them in order from highest to lowest.

4. Collective award category

• Conditions for collective award consideration:

+ 10 units/faculties/departments/divisions with the most total valid entries, including both video and photo categories (including entries from the following subjects: staff, lecturers, employees; students; former staff, lecturers, employees; former students; regardless of tenured lecturers and guest lecturers)

• Rules for calculating group scores:

Total score = (1) Photo category score + (2) Video category score

(1): Photo contest category score = Total score of the unit's 5 highest scoring photo entries

(2): Video category score = Total score of the unit's 5 highest scoring video entries

V. PRIZE STRUCTURE

• 01 First Prize: 1,500,000 VND/prize
• 02 Second Prizes: 1,000,000 VND/prize
• 03 Third Prizes: 500,000 VND/prize
• 01 Audience Choice Award: 500,000 VND/prize

- Tiktok video contest category

• 01 First Prize: 2,000,000 VND/prize
• 01 Second Prize: 1,500,000 VND/prize
• 01 Third Prize: 1,000,000 VND/prize

2. Collective solution

• 01 First Prize: 3,000,000 VND/prize
• 01 Second Prize: 2,000,000 VND/prize
• 01 Third Prize: 1,000,000 VND/prize

Total prize value: 16,000,000 million VND
