DNU teachers were moved and happy to share their feelings after the 2023 Admissions and Career Counseling Day

The 2023 Admissions and Career Counseling Festival ended in joy and pride of teachers and students of Dai Nam University. Instead of the self-consciousness and apprehension when participating in the Admissions and Career Counseling Festival in previous years, there was pride and the spirit of a great Dai Nam with its facilities, its teaching staff, and more than 32,000 students and trainees who have studied and are studying; thousands of former students and trainees holding high positions in prestigious enterprises and corporations across the country... The faces of each lecturer and consultant were radiant with pride and confidence in providing career counseling and guidance to candidates who wish to study at a dynamic, modern, and dedicated school for learners called Dai Nam University.

It can be said that never before have Dai Nam’s staff, lecturers and students participated in the festival with such a proactive, confident and “passionate” attitude. The friendliness, enthusiasm and responsibility of DNU teachers and students have left extremely good feelings and impressions on candidates, parents and spread the spirit of excellent internal connection throughout the school.

This year, Dai Nam University attended the Admissions and Career Counseling Day with careful preparation from the entire system.

Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thi Lien - Vice Principal shared: “The first time I attended the program, I was a bit “overwhelmed”. Overwhelmed by the grandeur of the program, the meticulousness of the teachers, the attention of parents and candidates to the majors of Dai Nam University. A bit nervous when sitting at the consulting table, directly sharing with the candidates. I thought of my children, thought of the moment when they went to learn about the major. Thinking of that, I was even more enthusiastic in consulting. I hope that my sharing will help children choose the right major, the right career, the right learning environment and develop in the future. Thank you Dai Nam University for giving me such wonderful experiences. I am proud to put on my orange shirt and say 'I am a lecturer of Dai Nam University. How can I help you and your children?'”.

Dr. Le Thi Thanh Huong (orange shirt) - Vice Principal confided: "No matter how many seasons of admissions and career counseling I have attended, my feelings are still extremely nervous, mixed with happiness. I am happy because DNU is a big house. On important occasions like this, everyone joins in, regardless of whether they are staff, lecturers, Faculty leaders or the Board of Directors. Together, we advise with a high spirit, determined to support and answer every question because we know that candidates and parents really appreciate the opportunity to receive 1-on-1 counseling with universities like today".

Miss Luong Thuy Linh - Assistant Lecturer of the Faculty of Business Administration was moved: "Linh feels extremely honored to be able to work with teachers of Dai Nam University to advise and guide the career of this year's candidates. Truly, Linh was "overwhelmed" by the exciting atmosphere at the consulting booth of Dai Nam University. This proves that the candidates are very interested in their upcoming university journey. Thank you to the Board of Directors and the University for giving Linh the opportunity to share, answer questions and advise the candidates".

Associate Professor, Dr. Truong Duc Thao (3rd from left) - Head of the Faculty of E-Commerce and Digital Economy shared: “We have never received such “good” advice as this year. The gap between consultants, parents and students seems to be non-existent. Everyone is happy to share and learn about study and work opportunities, future trends, etc. I am sure that DNU has left beautiful images in the hearts of everyone participating in the Festival. I am truly happy and excited about an “explosive” admissions season of Dai Nam University”.

PhD. Pham Thi Thu Hien (far left) - Deputy Head of the Department of Science Management and Development Cooperation said: "Participating in the 2023 Admissions and Career Counseling Day brought me many emotions. It was the excitement of waking up early to prepare my clothes. It was touching the working spirit of everyone and especially it was very meaningful to parents and candidates."

Ms. Tran Thi Huong Giang (second from right) - Deputy Director of the Continuing Education Center for Pharmacy choked up: "It was touching when parents who are working at other universities also came to listen to Dai Nam teachers' advice. Many young people in grade 11 also participated to orient themselves early on their majors. Grade 12 candidates asked very specific questions about the majors, the teaching staff, whether they can study for a master's degree after graduation?... I am extremely happy and proud that the Health Department of Dai Nam University is increasingly widespread, affirming its reputation and brand."

MSc. Pham Thi Dung - Deputy Director of the Center for "Student Employment and Entrepreneurship" confided: "I don't like noise, but in the suffocating atmosphere at Dai Nam's consulting booth, I found it wonderful. It was even more wonderful when a parent who came to learn about Pharmacy told me: "I have researched all the information about the major and the school. Today I just came here to verify the enthusiasm and thoughtfulness of the teachers to have more confidence"... I am happy and proud that Dai Nam University has become a familiar name to many parents and students. I will keep in my memory the image of the candidates sitting at the consulting table, excitedly listening to the teachers' advice. From the initial worried eyes to the happy eyes later..."

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy - Head of the Department of Training and Soft Skills Development confided: “Since coming to Dai Nam, every year I have been honored to accompany the School in the Admissions and Career Counseling Day. This year, DNU's booth attracted a large number of candidates to participate in the consultation, filling the booth, we even had to joke that we could not breathe. I was extremely impressed with 02 candidates learning about the Business Administration major. After being consulted by me and the teachers, 02 students decided to submit their transcripts for admission to the school immediately. This is the motivation for teachers like us”.

Dr. Le Thi My Ngoc (second from right) - Head of the Faculty of Logistics and Supply Chain Management was moved: “It is a joy and an honor to be chosen by the University to sit at the admissions consulting table. This is the first year I have participated, so I was quite surprised by the excitement and excitement of the Festival; especially the careful and meticulous preparation of Dai Nam University. I was impressed when many parents came to learn about the profession for their children. The students proactively asked for advice. Many students came to ask me about Logistics and decided to "close the deal" at Dai Nam right away. Their actions make lecturers like us feel how meaningful and happy our work is.”

NCS. Do Thu Huong (second from left) - Head of Training Department shared: “I have participated with the school many times in the TVTS Festival, but this year I feel truly proud and honored. Firstly, we are very confident and proud of the quality of Dai Nam University. Secondly, both teachers and students have that mindset, so the working day is actually a festival because we feel young again when sharing with innocent students, full of "life". The excitement and crowds of candidates at the Festival made me exclaim: technology and the Internet still cannot erase the desire to learn, explore and "see firsthand" about the school, the profession, and the teachers. That dedication is in return for the dedication of the consultants. Nearly 100 DNU staff, lecturers and students sat until late afternoon to advise the candidates. Affirming that Dai Nam University has been preparing in every way to accompany students from the time they enter the school until they graduate, have a job, high income and a good life".

PhD student Duong Minh Tu – Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration expressed: “I am extremely honored to sit at the consulting counter directly with students and parents. Thank you DNU for giving me the opportunity to become a teacher, a consultant, and a guide for future generations.

MSc. Cao Thi Quynh - Head of Admissions Department proudly said: "My colleagues and I feel extremely happy and joyful when seeing our "brainchild" achieve the expected results. After 9 long years of experience, it can be seen that this year is the year that Dai Nam University's booth has achieved the most impact, the most beautiful interface, the most fun activities and the most interested candidates. From the bottom of my heart, on behalf of the Admissions Department, I would like to thank the Board of Directors for trusting us with this responsibility, thank the teachers and students for their cooperation and contribution to the program, and together with the Admissions Department, bring to the public the image of an extremely lovable Dai Nam."

The dedicated and enthusiastic sharing of teachers from Dai Nam University certainly gave parents and students a more general view of the profession and future job opportunities.

This is also a great motivation for teachers to do their role better. Worthy of the trust of parents, candidates as well as society.
