Double valedictorian of DNU Law Faculty: Continuously 'snatching' 50% tuition scholarship, average cumulative GPA of 8.44 points

When she learned that she had achieved the title of “Valedictorian of the Faculty of Law”, Ngoc Anh was surprised. She burst into happiness: “Finally, my efforts throughout 4 years of studying have been duly rewarded. I am grateful to my family, teachers and the school for always creating conditions for me to study and achieve the results I have today”.

It is known that during the 4 years of study, Ngoc Anh has always been in the top 5 in terms of academic results, continuously received 50% tuition scholarship, defended her thesis with the highest score of 9.5; excellent training score throughout the course, GPA of 8.44...

During her studies, Ngoc Anh has always been a leader in scientific research. The 10X won the Encouragement Prize for Student Scientific Research in 2020-2021 and the First Prize for Student Scientific Research in 2021-2022.

“At first, I came to Scientific Research just to gain in-depth knowledge about my major. However, after a period of time working in research activities, I realized that in addition to gaining knowledge, Scientific Research activities also help train self-reliance, logical thinking, critical thinking and the ability to endure difficulties,” Ngoc Anh said.

For Ngoc Anh, the Faculty of Law at Dai Nam University was an unexpected fate. Ngoc Anh said that she was afraid that studying Law would be very dry and rigid. However, that thought was "blown away" when Ngoc Anh set foot in Dai Nam.

Here, students are not only active and enthusiastic but also very “playful” when participating in events organized by the School and Faculty. Ngoc Anh said that she likes the most the professional events organized by the Faculty of Law such as: Mock Trial, Mock Auction… Through these activities, students can meet and listen to the opinions and sharing of famous lawyers as well as apply the knowledge they have learned into practice.

Ngoc Anh and her group of friends won first prize in Student Scientific Research 2021 - 2022 with the topic: "Same-sex marriage and acceptance of same-sex marriage in Vietnam"

With the goal of becoming a good lawyer in the future, Ngoc Anh always reminds herself to try hard and constantly look for opportunities every day. Right from her third year of university, the valedictorian applied for an internship at a Law Firm, in charge of litigation.

Ngoc Anh said that during her studies and internships, she always remembered her teachers' advice: "There may be a surplus of workers, but there is always a shortage of talented people. You should become the person that employers want to hire, without hesitation, and not become one of the thousands of workers struggling because of unemployment ." Thanks to that saying, Ngoc Anh always constantly improves herself, maintains her courage and persistently pursues her dream.

After graduation, Ngoc Anh will still pursue her dream of becoming a lawyer. If given the chance, she still wants to return to Dai Nam to study and contribute.

The female valedictorian did not forget to share the secret to "hunting" for scholarships: "Research carefully about the scholarship program, then clearly define your study path and strive to achieve your set goals. You will definitely achieve the results you desire."
