Errors that occur when paying university admission fees in 2024 and how to handle them

When paying the application fee, some unusual situations will arise, candidates need to calmly handle them. Below are detailed instructions for each error, candidates should refer to and implement!
The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) guides candidates to handle some situations that arise when paying university admission fees.
Situations and solutions
Situations arise | Solution |
Can't see the "Payment" button on the application registration interface | - At that time, candidates not from the province/city will be opened according to the fee payment schedule. - Or the payment system is overloaded and needs to be temporarily hidden to prevent congestion. |
No bank account/e-wallet | - Go to the bank/e-wallet transaction point to register an account. Candidates in remote areas can go to VNPT Post or Viettel Post post offices to register a wallet account as well as top up or make payments on behalf of others. - Or ask someone else to pay for you. |
Have a bank account but have not registered for electronic banking services | Contact the bank to register for the service or ask someone else to pay on your behalf. |
Received notification of money deduction from the bank account/e-wallet in use but did not receive successful notification on the admission system | Contact the payment channel hotline or the admission system switchboard to report and receive verification support (the money deducted from this transaction will be refunded later). |
Transaction is successful but does not automatically return to the admission system page or returns but requires login | Log back into the admission system to check the payment transaction status: Successful transaction status means that the candidate has completed the fee payment obligation. |
Unable to make fee payment transaction due to system congestion | - Do not try to access again immediately, wait about 15-30 minutes and then access again; - Review your bank account/e-wallet information to re-do when the system returns to normal; - Call the admission system support hotline or report to the teacher/in-charge of information technology at the high school (where the application is received) after several unsuccessful attempts to access the system. |
The Ministry of Education and Training noted that the 2024 university admission registration system allows candidates to choose 1 of 17 different payment channels (provided on the National Public Service Portal) to pay the admission fee.
Candidates only pay fees on the admission system, not on any other payment channel.
In case of other payment channels, the Ministry of Education and Training will announce on the admission system and mass media.
At one time, candidates can only log into the admission system on one device. Do not use the same account to simultaneously log into the admission system on multiple devices.
Hotline for payment support
When needing support while making a payment on a specific payment channel, candidates can contact the hotline number displayed on the payment page of that channel or contact the National Public Service Portal Support Center: 1800 1096.

In addition, candidates can contact the phone number of the high school, the teacher in charge of information technology of the school is responsible for supporting candidates.
