Final round of the contest to learn about herbal medicines and functional foods

Aiming to help first-year students approach the field of study through learning and contacting pharmaceutical products on the market. Know how to research, collect and process information for a scientific problem. At the same time, help students form teamwork skills, skills in searching, collecting documents and information, creating conditions for future study and research. On the morning of April 18, 2015, the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Dai Nam University organized the final round of the contest to learn about medicines and functional foods of herbal origin.
The Contest was attended by teachers in the School's Board of Directors and teachers and students of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy.
Dr. Pham Van Nguyen - Head of Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy gave a speech and opened the competition.
With 20 topics, the teachers in the Jury have selected the 8 best topics to present at the final round. Although they have only completed one semester of their first year, the students of the 8th course of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy have been very enthusiastic in participating in the research. The Jury also does not require too much expertise in the content of the students' research topics, but mainly considers the students' skills in collecting information, working in groups, and presenting and speaking skills.

Students of Course 8 confidently presented their research reports.
The jury highly appreciated the quality and presentation of the students' reports. In particular, the topic "Treatment of liver and gallbladder diseases" presented by the group of students from Class D7-01 in English received many compliments from the jury as well as teachers and students.
At the end of the session, the jury selected the 4 best winning topics:
+ First prize is the topic " Company with pharmaceutical and functional food products" by the group of students Ngo Thuy Dung, Le Thi Huong, Bui Thi Thu Hien, Dang Thi Huyen, Phan Thi Thom, Nguyen Minh Anh, class D7-01;
+ Second prize is the topic "Treatment of Liver and Gallbladder Diseases" by the group of students Nguyen Thi Trang, Dao Hong Nhung, Do Thanh Tam, Tran To Uyen, Dang Khanh Phuong, class D7-01;
+ Two third prizes for the topics:

The contest to learn about herbal medicines and functional foods is one of many other contests that the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy organizes for students. This is an opportunity for students of the Faculty of Pharmacy to learn from experience in doing research papers so that they can have better study methods and exams in the following years.
