Groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Dai Nam University Complex Phase 2 with a total investment of 1,800 billion VND

On the morning of January 10, 2021, Dai Nam University (DNU) held the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Dai Nam University Complex Phase 2 with a total investment of 1,800 billion VND. The continued construction of Dai Nam University Phase 2 aims to meet the increasing demand for facilities to serve the training of students studying at the school over the years; contributing high-quality human resources in the fields of health, economics, engineering, social sciences and humanities to the country.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Dai Nam University phase 2 was held solemnly and respectfully at the construction site.

At the Conference "Hanoi 2020 - Investment and Development Cooperation" (June 27, 2020), Dai Nam University was honored to be one of 229 enterprises of the Capital (the only higher education institution) to be granted the investment decision by Hanoi City to build a school complex on an area of nearly 9 hectares in the center of Ha Dong district - Hanoi.

After the groundbreaking ceremony, the project to build Dai Nam University complex phase 2 was officially deployed in January 2021 with a total investment of 1,800 billion VND.

Sharing about the project, Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Dai Nam University said: With the project approved by Hanoi City, Dai Nam University will focus on building additional items, including: Lecture hall system (GR-1 area 1350 m2, total floor area 12,150 m2, number of floors 9; GR-2 area 1350 m2, total floor area 12,150 m2, number of floors 9; GR-3 area 2,760 m2, total floor area 41,400 m2, number of floors 15); Administrative building area 1,052 m2, total floor area 8,416 m2, number of floors 8; Practical - experimental workshop system area 3,517 m2, total floor area 24,619 m2, number of floors 7; Canteen area 1,707 m2, total floor area 15,363 m2, 9 floors; Library area 1,533 m2, total floor area 1,0731 m2, 7 floors; Startup center area 1,035 m2, total floor area 8,280 m2, 8 floors; Multi-purpose sports hall area 1,437 m2, total floor area 10,059 m2, 7 floors; Dormitory system includes Dormitory 1 area 1,300 m2, total floor area 19,500 m2, 15 floors and Dormitory 2 area 1,570 m2, total floor area 23,550 m2, 15 floors. In addition, the school also invests in synchronous construction of traffic infrastructure, communications, electricity supply, water supply and drainage, parking lot, green landscape...

Representatives of the School Council and the Board of Directors held the groundbreaking ceremony to start construction of Dai Nam University complex phase 2.

It is expected that Dai Nam University complex will be completed in 2025 - 2027; the second 9-storey building and some other construction items will be completed and put into use on May 1, 2022 to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the school's founding (November 14, 2022).
