Ha Dong Eye Hospital Officially became a Clinical Practice Facility for Medical Students of Dai Nam University

The collaboration with Ha Dong  Eye Hospital, one of the leading ophthalmology hospitals in Hanoi, is clear evidence of Dai Nam University's commitment to producing high-quality medical professionals for the community.

Ha Dong Eye Hospital is a Grade II specialized eye hospital under the Hanoi Department of Health, equipped with modern facilities and advanced technology to ensure the provision of comprehensive eye care services. The hospital boasts a team of highly skilled and experienced doctors who are always willing to educate the future generation.

Medical students from Dai Nam University will be mentored by Professors, Doctors, and Grade I and II Specialists during their clinical internships at  Dong Eye Hospital, as per the inked collaboration agreement.

Both parties will closely coordinate in designing programs, schedules, and practical training, as well as evaluating the outcomes of the internships. By combining classroom instruction with on-site clinical experience, the hospital ensures that students will be immersed in the clinical environment 24/7, improving their abilities and knowledge of medical ethics.

At the ceremony, Dr. Tran Hoang Thanh, Director of Ha Dong Eye Hospital, expressed the hospital's honor in collaborating with Dai Nam University to train future doctors. Through this relationship, the hospital's medical personnel will be able to improve their expertise and experience to the younger generation while also boosting the quality of the healthcare workforce.

Prof. Dr. Hoang Duc Hanh, Head of the Faculty of Medicine, emphasized that Dai Nam University particularly prioritizes strengthening the University-Hospital relationship to ensure practical training opportunities for students. The Faculty of Medicine is currently a strategic partner of several major hospitals, such as Hanoi Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital, Saint-Paul Hospital, Ha Dong General Hospital, and Vietnam – Cuba Friendship Hospital.
