Incredible stories in “My Story - The wishes in Dai Nam”

On May 19th of 2016, the event “My Story – The wishes in Dai Nam” was held in Dai Nam University. The event was launched by students of Class 07-01 of the Faculty of Business Administration. In the event, three incredible and touching stories of three students of the university were shared. All stories have shown great examples of courage, hope and will.

The first story is from Dinh Tuan Quang, Class TA09-01. Suffered from anhidrosis, his appearance may not be his strong point, yet his will to progress in life win the respect of everyone. Even though the disease causes a constant difficulty for him, especially in the hot weather, Quang has always displayed himself an active and optimistic person and student. Along with studying, he has joined the Dance Club and many social activities to contribute to the society. He said “With my appearance, I may not be as confident as others, but I never stop trying to lead a better life. I hope that everyone will understand my willingness and look at me with a better eye”.

The happiness of Quang’s family

The second story is from Nguyen Thi Thu Hien, Class TA09-01. Born in a poor family in the ethnic region of Tay people, Hien has met a lot of difficulties to pursuit her dream of studying. During her teenage, Hien had to stop going to schools many times to work to support her family. However, with the desire to study and the help from schools, Hien manages to continue her studying and is now attending Dai Nam University. Her story has become a source of motivation for everyone in the event. For her, being able to go to school is simply a happiness in life.

The third story is from Vuong Nguyen Trinh, Class TA09-01. Unlike the first two students, Trinh is a handsome student born in a stable family. However, he was not a good son to his parents. Addicted to computer games, Trinh had skipped his classes many times in the past, causing his parents troubles and sadness. When he came to realize his mistake, Trinh was determined to quit his addiction by all means from locking himself at home, cutting off the Internet service... Finally, he manages to quit playing game and returns to school normally.

The event “My Story – The wishes in Dai Nam” is inspired by the program “The wishes on Saturday”. The event is an effort to strengthen the bond between students and teachers of Dai Nam University.
