Instructions for adjusting university admission wishes

After knowing the high school graduation exam scores, each candidate can adjust their admission application once. Accordingly, candidates need to clearly understand the time to change their application in 2020 and some important notes to increase their chances of being admitted to university.

1. Method of adjusting admission wishes

In the 2020 admission period, the Ministry of Education and Training stipulates that each candidate can adjust their admission wishes according to 1 of the 2 following methods:

Adjust online at the official website of the Ministry of Education and Training

- Candidates use their personal account and password to adjust their application. Note that this method is only accepted when the number of applications after adjustment is not greater than the number of applications originally registered in the application form.

Adjust by Application Adjustment Form

- Candidates are allowed to increase the number of wishes compared to the number of wishes initially registered in the Application Form and must pay additional fees for the increased number of wishes according to regulations.

3.1 Adjust your wishes online

Step 1 : Candidates access the link http://thisinh.thithptquocgia.edu.vn/ .

Log in with the following information: ID number, Login code, Confirmation code.

Note : Candidates who do not have a Login Code, please contact the Application Reception Point where you submitted your application to get the Login Code.

Step 2 : Select the function Change admission wishes from the system menu.

Step 3 : Select Edit wishes .

Candidates choose schools, majors and subject combinations that need to be changed.

If the candidate wants to delete a wish, click the Delete button on the Wish Registration Information screen.

A window appears, press the OK button to delete or the Cancel button to cancel the request.

If you want to change the priority order, click the arrow button to move your preferences up and down.

Step 4 : After completing the steps, click the Save information button, the system will send an OTP verification code to the phone number. Candidates enter this verification code on the Registration Confirmation screen.

Step 5 : After clicking Confirm registration, the system will ask for authentication again.

Click OK to save the data, click Cancel to cancel editing.

3.2 Adjustment by Application Adjustment Form

To adjust wishes using this method, candidates must fill out 2 forms, one form is kept by the receiving place, one form is kept by the candidate.

When changing your wishes by filling out a form, you should note the following:

1. Candidates' personal information must be recorded accurately and consistent with the national high school exam registration form.

2. "Request to adjust priority mode" section: If the candidate needs to correct "Priority area" or "Priority object", mark X in the first blank box. Then, in the "Priority admission area" section, you need to fill in one of the codes KV1, KV2-NT, KV2 and KV3. In the "Priority admission object" section, fill in one of the symbols from 01 to 07. If not a priority object, leave it blank.

3. With the table "Content of admission application wishes after adjustment", candidates need to follow the following instructions:

Step 1 : Fill in all the information about your application after adjusting it in the new table from column (1) to column (5).

Step 2 : Compare the old and new wish lists to write "Changed content" in column (6):

- If the order and content of the wishes do not change, candidates write number 0 in column (6) of the same row.

- If only changing the priority order and keeping the other contents the same, candidates write the old priority order number in column (6) of the same row.

- For other changes, candidates write "TĐ" in column 6 of the same row.

Note: With this adjustment method, candidates can increase the number of admission wishes, however, candidates must pay additional fees for those new wishes.

After completing, candidates submit the form to adjust their wishes about the exam registration points . Regarding the exam registration points: For regular candidates, it is the high school where they are studying. For independent candidates, the exam registration points are determined by the Department of Education and Training.

Candidates are expected to check the adjusted results and request corrections if any before 5:00 p.m. on September 29 (applicable to the form of admission by ballot). Schools are expected to consider admission from October 2 to 5:00 p.m. on October 4.
