Le Quang Trung - Former student of course 1 - TCNH: "It doesn't matter which school you study at, what matters is self-awareness and working ability"

That is what Le Quang Trung - Former student of course 1 shared when talking about the beloved school he attended.

Quang Trung, full name Le Quang Trung, is a former student of the first course, Faculty of Finance and Banking, Dai Nam University. An active young man with a handsome face and cheerful personality, despite his young age, Trung is currently the Head of the Financial Consulting Department of Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ACB) - a favorite job that matches Trung's major.

Dai Nam - the starting point for success

As a student of the first class of Dai Nam University, it can be said that Trung is one of the first children of the school. Going back to the time 8 years ago, when the school was newly established in 2007. Trung had many choices to study Finance and Banking at other universities. But Trung decided to choose Dai Nam University. A new school with breakthroughs in training. Trung shared: “ Before registering to study at Dai Nam, I carefully researched information about the school on the admissions pages. With the difference in teaching methods, innovation in learning methods... In particular, we chose Dai Nam University because we love and respect our idol, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Le Dac Son. And Dai Nam has helped us change according to the school's slogan - Study to change."

During his studies, Trung always showed seriousness and diligence. He held the position of class leader of class NH 01-02 for 4 years, regularly participated in movement activities, seminars, and direct exchanges with successful businessmen organized by the school. In particular, Trung never missed a dialogue session with Mr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors with students. These activities helped Trung mature and accumulate more practical experience.

In his third year, Trung was introduced by a teacher in the Faculty to do an internship at ACB Bank. Being a serious and responsible person at work, along with the banking profession and soft skills learned at Quang Trung School, ACB Bank highly appreciated his ability and working attitude. In October 2011, a year before graduating, Trung was accepted to work at ACB Bank. Trung shared: “ Dai Nam University is the starting point for my success. It can be said that Dai Nam has brought me luck.”

Always proud of Dai Nam University

Sharing about Dai Nam University where he has been attached for 4 years, Trung radiates joy like a new university student. Having graduated for 3 years, but when mentioning Trung, the teachers of the Finance and Banking Faculty all remember and admire their student. “ Energetic, serious in everything, sociable with friends, polite with teachers. Even though he has graduated for a long time, Trung often visits the school. Especially, every time he mentions memories of his university days, mentioning Dai Nam, Trung always makes listeners feel Trung’s pride in Dai Nam, in his teachers .” Ms. Nguyen Thi Vuong - staff of the Finance and Banking Faculty shared about Trung.

Working at ACB Bank, most of Trung's colleagues and employees graduated from top schools in Vietnam such as Foreign Trade University, National Economics University, Banking Academy... But Trung has never felt shy or self-conscious about studying at a private school, but Trung is always confident and proud to tell his colleagues and employees: " I graduated from Dai Nam University" .

Perhaps, many students after graduating and becoming successful, they will feel self-conscious or do not want people to know that they graduated from a private university. But in Trung, it is the opposite. Trung said: “ Dai Nam is the place I chose to study, this is the place that gave me knowledge, skills, and created a solid foundation for me to confidently strive and advance to my current position. I am proud to be a DNU student. I will try harder to prove to society that Dai Nam students are very capable.”

Trung believes that the degree and whether he studied at a public or private school are not important, but his self-awareness and working ability. A public school student does not necessarily work better than a private school graduate. Degrees do not say everything. What is important is that you must know how to make an effort and try while still in school. At ACB, Trung always does his job well with his determination, ability and responsibility. In 2014, Trung was honored at the ceremony to honor the best sales staff in the Hanoi area of ACB Bank.

Confident in himself and enthusiastic in his work, Quang Trung has achieved certain successes at a very young age.

Do ordinary things with extraordinary spirit

Talking about his experience working with young people, Quang Trung shared: “Banking is a high-pressure and risky industry. If Dai Nam students love and choose to study Banking, then try to study well, accumulate knowledge and skills while still in school. When you go to work, be passionate and responsible. Do ordinary things with extraordinary spirit. Success will surely come to you.”

There are still many shortcomings in society. If we place too much importance on degrees, without making efforts and improving ourselves with our own abilities, we will sooner or later be eliminated. The path to success is always full of difficulties and challenges, but if you have determination and goals, success will "chase" you. That is the way for Quang Trung to strive and develop further on the path of fame that Trung wants to share with Dai Nam University students in particular and young people in general.
