Meet the new students of K14, Faculty of Accounting: Who you become after 4 years depends on your decisions and actions today

With the desire to help new students have an overview of the school; better understand the Faculty, the training major and future career opportunities; know how to master university learning methods early; inspire and motivate learning; strengthen the connection between teachers and students, between new students, the Faculty of Accounting of Dai Nam University organized a meeting for new students of the 14th course at the large hall, Main campus (No. 1, Xom Street - Phu Lam - Ha Dong - Hanoi)

Representatives of the Board of Directors, teachers in the Department of Accounting, guests and alumni attended the meeting.

The meeting of K14 new students of the Faculty of Accounting had the presence of Dr. Luong Cao Dong - Principal of the school; Dr. Le Thi Thanh Huong - Vice Principal; along with staff and lecturers in the faculty; representatives of students of courses 11, 12, 13; representatives of successful alumni of the faculty and especially the presence of nearly 200 K14 new students.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, Dr. Luong Cao Dong sent his congratulations to all the new students of K14, Faculty of Accounting, who have successfully passed the stressful 2020 High School Graduation Exam with high scores and are now attending Dai Nam University. At the same time, Dr. Luong Cao Dong expressed his belief that with the dynamism, creativity and enthusiasm of youth, the new students will quickly overcome their initial confusion, integrate well into the professional university environment to achieve good learning and training results from the beginning.

This information helps new students better understand the new learning environment as well as be more confident in their choice.

Returning to the faculty after 10 years of graduation, Ms. Bui Ha Phuong - a former student of the 3rd course, currently working at the Hanoi Department of Finance, shared her sincere and emotional thoughts with the new students: "Up to this moment and forever, I always feel lucky, happy and proud to be a student of the Accounting Faculty of Dai Nam University. The Faculty of Accounting is one of the first and largest faculties of Dai Nam University. Not only has a long tradition, the faculty also has very sustainable growth and many breakthroughs in teaching activities. Training content and methods are always innovated in the direction of applying information technology in teaching and learning. Students are taught theoretical content combined with practical practice at the school's "Center for Banking Finance and Accounting - Auditing Practice". Therefore, students have enough qualifications and skills to work as a general accountant right from when they are in school.

According to the 2019 survey results, 95% of Accounting students have jobs right after graduation. Graduates work in a variety of organizations and businesses such as: Administrative units, joint stock companies, limited liability companies and enterprises, state agencies. Feedback from businesses shows that students of the Accounting Faculty of Dai Nam University are very confident in interviews and exams. During the working process, they are very proactive and creative, so many of them have been planned and promoted to hold key positions in businesses such as: Director, Deputy Director, Financial Director, Chief Accountant, General Accountant, etc.
