Meeting new students of K13 Finance - Banking: "Study the right major, work the right job, live with passion"

With the aim of helping new students of the Faculty of Finance and Banking K13 better understand the major, training program, future career opportunities as well as strengthen the connection between teachers and students, and between new students, recently, the Faculty of Finance and Banking of Dai Nam University successfully organized a meeting to welcome new students K13 at the campus of 56 Vu Trong Phung - Thanh Xuan - Hanoi.
With the aim of helping new students of the Faculty of Finance and Banking K13 better understand the major, training program, future career opportunities as well as strengthen the connection between teachers and students, and between new students, recently, the Faculty of Finance and Banking of Dai Nam University successfully organized a meeting to welcome new students K13 at the campus of 56 Vu Trong Phung - Thanh Xuan - Hanoi.
With the theme “study the right major – work the right job – live passionately”, the meeting to welcome new students of K13 of the Faculty of Finance and Banking, Dai Nam University had the presence of representatives of the School Board of Directors; leaders, staff, lecturers, new students of K13, especially the presence of successful alumni, training experts and staff from large banks and financial companies.
With the theme “study the right major – work the right job – live passionately”, the meeting to welcome new students of K13 of the Faculty of Finance and Banking, Dai Nam University had the presence of representatives of the School Board of Directors; leaders, staff, lecturers, new students of K13, especially the presence of successful alumni, training experts and staff from large banks and financial companies.
Dr. Luong Cao Dong - Principal of Dai Nam University spoke at the meeting to welcome new students of K13, Faculty of Finance and Banking.
Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Luong Cao Dong - President of Dai Nam University sent a warm welcome to all new students of K13 of the Faculty of Finance - Banking, and shared the views and educational philosophy of the University, development trends and career opportunities of the Finance - Banking industry in the period of international integration.

According to Dr. Luong Cao Dong, the Faculty of Finance and Banking is one of the first and largest faculties of Dai Nam University. Not only does it have a long tradition, the faculty also leads in both quantity and quality of training at the university. “ Linking training with practice, practicing as you learn; training generations of bachelors who are good at their profession and have good moral qualities; becoming a prestigious and high-quality training address for Finance and Banking, highly trusted by society is the “compass” and goal of the Faculty of Finance and Banking of Dai Nam University…”, Dr. Luong Cao Dong shared.
According to Dr. Luong Cao Dong, up to now, the Faculty of Finance and Banking has had more than 3,000 graduates , who have found jobs and are highly appreciated by businesses. In particular, many students of the faculty have become official employees of large financial and banking companies while still in school.

“Finance - Banking is a field of study that has never been out of hot, the demand for old and new human resources is very high. I hope that the new students of K13 will continue to promote the tradition of the Faculty to study and have a good future. Mr. Nguyen Ba Chi Cong - Director of TPBank, Ha Dong branch shared about the human resource needs of the Finance - Banking industry in the future.
Answering the question “Is Finance – Banking still a hot major, is it easy to find a job after studying Finance – Banking” from new students, Mr. Nguyen Ba Chi Cong – Director of TPBank, Ha Dong branch shared: “ Finance – Banking is one of the broad majors, related to all transaction services and currency circulation. Regardless of the economic context, Finance – Banking is still a necessary profession. In particular, the recovery of the economy, along with Vietnam joining ASEAN, TPP… is a “golden” opportunity for the Finance – Banking industry to continue to develop strongly in the future. In fact, the demand for human resources in the Finance – Banking industry is very large and has never been as thirsty for human resources as now…”

As a recruiter, Mr. Nguyen Nam Phong - Fintech expert, Director of Key Personnel Consulting and Training Joint Stock Company shared interesting information to help new students understand and actively improve their knowledge and skills.
“To affirm and score points with employers, Finance - Banking students need many skills, the most important of which are solid professional knowledge, teamwork skills, presentation skills, foreign languages, IT... and a receptive and progressive attitude. Currently, businesses no longer care which school you graduated from, what we care about is whether you can do the job..." Mr. Nguyen Nam Phong emphasized.

Also at the meeting, Le Trong Duy - a former student of the 8th course of the Faculty of Finance and Banking, currently the manager of the Ecom Project - Digital Banking, shared his experiences in studying, interviewing and working at the bank, helping to motivate and inspire the new students of K13.
Teachers and students of the Faculty of Finance - Banking and guests took souvenir photos after the meeting.
