Meeting with new students of K15, Faculty of Tourism: All students' questions, even the smallest ones, are answered satisfactorily!

With the motto of action "Anything that is harmful to the learner, no matter how small, will be resolutely not done; anything that is best for the learner, will be done with all our heart and soul...", students coming to Dai Nam University in general and the Faculty of Tourism in particular will be trained to develop harmoniously and comprehensively. After 4 years of studying at the school, students will achieve output standards according to their capacity in knowledge - skills - attitudes; creating solid values for themselves to be ready to participate in the competitive labor market.

With the desire to help the "new recruits" of K15 have an overview of the school; better understand the Faculty; learn more about the training program; grasp the learning path, practice - internship opportunities and future career opportunities; know how to master early learning and research methods at university level; inspire and motivate learning; strengthen the connection between teachers and students, between new students in the context of not being able to go to school due to the epidemic, the Faculty of Tourism of Dai Nam University organized an online meeting for new students of K15.

The meeting was attended by the Board of Directors, Board of Management, representatives of departments/offices in the school, together with the collective of leaders, staff, lecturers, representatives of students of courses 12, 13, 14 studying at the faculty and the presence of more than 100 new students of K15 admitted in the first round.

In particular, the meeting of K15 new students of the Faculty of Tourism also had the participation of representatives of leading enterprises in the tourism industry, such as: Human Resources Director of InterContinental Hanoi Landmark72 Hotel, Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi; representatives of Saigontourist Hanoi Travel Company, Viettravel Company, GTVT Trade Union Tourism Joint Stock Company - Suntravel...

On behalf of the school, Dr. Le Thi Thanh Huong - Vice Principal congratulated all the new students of K15, Faculty of Tourism, who had successfully passed the challenging 2021 High School Graduation Exam and were present at Dai Nam University; at the same time, she sent her deep thanks to the parents who trusted and created the best conditions for their children to study and practice at the Faculty of Tourism, Dai Nam University.

That is not only the declaration of Dr. Le Dac Son - the head of the school, but also the way of life and work that permeates every cadre, lecturer, and employee of DNU. At the Faculty of Tourism, Dai Nam University, students will study and experience in the best conditions, ensuring output standards according to their abilities, and they will be able to work immediately after graduation, and businesses will not have to retrain them…” Dr. Le Thi Thanh Huong affirmed.

At the meeting, Dr. Tran Hoang Dong - Head of the Faculty gave an overview of Dai Nam University, Faculty of Tourism to help new students and parents see the whole picture of the school they/their children are studying. In particular, parents understood the process of coordinating with the school in training and educating students.

Also at the meeting, new students of K15 were able to learn thoroughly and in detail about the major, including: Training program, learning roadmap through each school year, practical - practical opportunities, future career opportunities, job positions that can be held after graduation, suitable qualities to study, learning methods, research at university level... These things help new students to catch up with their studies more proactively and effectively.

The meeting is also an opportunity for the school leaders, faculty leaders and teachers to listen to the thoughts and aspirations, and learn about the difficulties and problems of new students and their families. From there, there will be timely answers and support. The Faculty of Tourism in particular and Dai Nam University in general always strive to improve the quality of training to be worthy of the trust and expectations of students and their families.

Representatives of businesses participating in the meeting took turns sharing and answering questions from new students and parents about job opportunities and requirements when businesses accept students for practice - internship and work.

Having direct answers from business owners has helped new students have the most objective and truthful view of their future career field, and at the same time determine their motivation, purpose, and serious learning attitude right from the beginning to meet the practical requirements of the business after graduation.

New student Le Thi Kim Ngan - class QTDL 15-01 said: “The new student meeting helped me gain more confidence and motivation.
