Moot court is not only known as an annual event of the Law Club but also a "specialty", an academic playground to affirm the self-worth of future DNU lawyers.

After more than 8 years of continuous organization, the value of Moot Court has been increasingly consolidated, deserving to be one of the academic playgrounds that students of the Faculty of Law at Dai Nam University look forward to.

DNU Moot Court 2022 will be held on June 27, 2022.

The 2022 DNU Moot Court is organized with the desire to create an environment for students of the Faculty of Law to improve their professional knowledge, litigation skills, trial management skills, and lawyer practice skills; experience the actual litigation model in court according to the provisions of Vietnamese procedural law to serve the research and study process as well as create a foundation for future career development. At the same time, it creates a playground for students who are passionate about Economic Law, helping them have a more multi-dimensional view of social issues.

Differences of Moot Court 2022

Unlike previous years, Moot Court 2022 received a large response from students who registered to participate, ranging from first year to senior year students.

Students participating in this year's mock trial will go through 2 rounds: Registration Round - Casting to choose roles and Final Round. You will have 1 month to familiarize yourself with the case file, prepare the script, develop the plot and assign roles: Judge, People's Jury, Court Secretary, Prosecutor, Lawyer, Victim, Defendant, Person with related rights and obligations... From there, recreate a "real" trial with full steps of procedures, debate, deliberation and sentencing.

Mock trial is an academic playground that is especially anticipated by students majoring in Economic Law at Dai Nam University.

Even more special, Case Files is based on a real case with an open verdict, creating space for students on the Trial Panel to present arguments to defend their point of view.

In addition, this year's mock trial has a "super-strong" Advisory Board. Ms. Cao Thi Thanh Huyen - Secretary of the People's Court of Ba Dinh District and Lawyer Nguyen Ngoc Lan - member of the Hanoi Bar Association organized training sessions for DNU students of the Faculty of Law. The training with the Advisory Board not only helps students visualize the procedural order in a real trial, but they are also guided on gestures, voice, and mannerisms appropriate for each position of Judge, Lawyer, Prosecutor, Defendant, etc. On the other hand, this is also an opportunity for students to approach, understand more and have a correct view of their future careers.

Contrary to many people's thinking that Law is very "dry", the Bachelor of Economic Law training program at Dai Nam University is very interesting and equally effective through the training method according to practical models.

Let's look forward to the DNU Moot Court 2022 taking place on June 27, 2022 at Dai Nam University!
