Independent candidates including those who passed the high school graduation exam in 2014 but did not pass the university entrance exam, students who need to retake the exam this year and those who did not pass the high school graduation exam in 2014 need to pay attention to what in the upcoming 2015 national high school exam?The 2015 National High School Exam will be held in 4 days from July 1-4, 2015 with 8 subjects, including 4 subjects in essay format including: Math , Literature , History , Geography , test time 180 minutes; 3 subjects in multiple choice format including: Physics , Chemistry , Biology , test time 90 minutes; Foreign Language subject has both essay and multiple choice test; Literature exam has 2 parts: reading comprehension and writing.
The exam content is within the high school curriculum, mainly the 12th grade curriculum. Students studying the high school curriculum and the continuing education program take the same exam, which ensures both graduation and university and college admission purposes.
According to the Guidelines for implementing the Examination Regulations in organizing the national high school examination and considering the recognition of high school graduation issued by the Ministry of Education and Training, independent candidates from other provinces and centrally-run cities (collectively referred to as provinces) taking the examination for consideration of recognition of high school graduation can choose the location to submit their application for examination registration (DKDT) at one of the DKDT units prescribed by the Departments of Education and Training, but must take the examination at the examination cluster with candidates studying at the high school which is the DKDT unit.

Independent candidates who have lost their original high school transcripts but wish to take the 2015 exam must have their transcripts re-certified, based on comparison with the records of the high school where they studied grade 12 or based on the exam records of previous exams.
Certified copies of relevant documents are photocopies certified by a notary public. The People's Committee at the commune level confirms the candidate's residence, qualifications, moral qualities, and strict compliance with the State's policies and laws, and local regulations; the district-level professional agency confirms the conditions for enjoying other preferential standards as prescribed in Article 36 of the Examination Regulations.
The candidate's photo must be a color ID card photo and must have been taken no more than 6 months before the application submission date.
When entering the Registration Form, the candidate's photo must be entered (can be scanned, imported from a photo file or taken directly). The candidate's photo entered into the system must have a resolution of 400x600 pixels and must be attached correctly to the candidate.
To create the most favorable conditions for independent candidates , the units will continuously receive applications from independent candidates until April 30, including holidays. After April 30, 2015, candidates are not allowed to change the exam cluster and information about the registered exam subjects.
From April 1 to May 30, 2015, the registration units will collect the High School Graduation Recognition Registration Form and the accompanying High School Graduation Recognition Application; enter candidate data into the exam management software.
After entering the data, the computer staff prints the List of candidates registering for high school graduation recognition according to the prescribed form in the exam management software, and gives it to the homeroom teacher or assigned staff to organize for students to review and sign for confirmation. Independent candidates can submit their high school graduation recognition application along with their registration application./.
Application form for candidates who do not have a high school diploma:
For those who finished grade 12 in 2015 including:
- 02 identical exam registration forms;
- High school transcript;
- Transcript or Examination form of self-study learners for GDTX (copy);
- Valid certificates to enjoy preferential and incentive regimes (if any). To enjoy preferential regimes related to the place of permanent residence registration, candidates must have a copy of the Permanent Residence Registration Book;
- 02 photos size 4x6 cm
- 02 envelopes with stamps and the candidate's contact address clearly written on them.
For independent candidates : In addition to the above documents, there must be additional documents.
- Birth certificate (copy);
- Certificate of confirmation from the People's Committee of the commune where the student resides according to the prescribed content if the student was not eligible to take the exam in previous years due to poor conduct in grade 12;
- Certificate from the high school where the student studied grade 12 or registered for the exam regarding academic performance for students with poor academic performance;
- Secondary or high school diploma (copy);
- Certificate of reserved scores (if any) certified by the Principal of the high school where the candidate took the exam last year.
- 02 identical exam registration forms;
- High school or college diploma (copy);
- 02 photos size 4x6 cm
- 02 envelopes with stamps and the candidate's contact address clearly written on them.
