Surpassing 412 projects of nearly 1,000 authors in 30 provinces and cities and going through three rounds of rigorous evaluation, the Cay Con Chicken Farm project of a group of students from the Faculty of Business Administration, Dai Nam University, has excellently entered the top 6 best projects, with the highest scores, participating in the final round of the National Startup Competition 2016 taking place on the afternoon of December 27, 2016, at the VCCI building, No. 9 Dao Duy Anh, Dong Da, Hanoi.

With the policy of training closely linked to practice, Dai Nam University always creates conditions for students to maximize their creativity, dare to think, dare to do by sponsoring expertise, organization and finance for many playgrounds, competitions, and events organized by the University's students. The contest "Starting a business with Dai Nam" organized annually by the Startup Club, Faculty of Business Administration is a testament to the entire spirit and goal of "for the comprehensive development of students" of the University's Board of Directors. After two years of organization, the contest is a useful playground for students of the economic sector of many colleges and universities across the country. Thereby, nurturing and discovering many business and startup talents; is a bridge for students to participate in the National Startup Competition.
Growing up from the Startup with Dai Nam 2016 competition, the Cay Con chicken farm project of three students Vi Ngoc Ha (QTKD0901), Le Thi Thu (QTKD 0801) and Bui Van Cuong (QTKD 0901) with the desire to bring a source of high-quality clean food from the Lao jungle fowl breed that has never been seen in Vietnam has been highly appreciated by experts for its feasibility and practicality.
Vi Ngoc Ha and Le Thi Thu represented the group to present the Project.
The name of the chicken is Cay Con, which means small chicken in the Mong language (Cay is chicken, con is small). Cay Con chicken has the advantage of being highly resistant, easy to raise, rarely gets sick, has a small body, and firmer meat than other types of chicken. With the strength of a unique product, it has many competitive advantages; Taking advantage of human resources and land of the family; The initial investment capital is lower than raising other species, the total capital of the project is only about 400 million, of which, the equity capital is 300 million and the borrowed capital (reserve) is 100 million. Moreover, the project has been tested in households and brought high economic efficiency. Therefore, many judges in the Jury were interested and expressed their desire to invest in the project.
Many teachers and students came to cheer for the Project.
Mr. Nguyen Van My - Lecturer of CEFE Vietnam Program, Senior Advisor of Startup Program said that he is ready to invest in this project after being informed by the project owner that when investing capital in the project, investors will receive 25% profit.

Regarding this project, Mr. Nguyen Tu Hong Quan - Director of Nhan Hoa Software Company Limited, Senior Advisor of the Startup Program affirmed that the project is quite good and will help with investment in terms of communication.
Similarly, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong - General Director of Vietnam Australia Electrical and Refrigeration Corporation (Kangaroo) was also very impressed with the group's presentation and affirmed that he would consider investing.
The project team took a souvenir photo with teachers and students.
The Startup Program has contributed to fostering the entrepreneurial spirit, creating opportunities to promote creativity, self-reliance, business acumen... in young people and students, contributing to creating a significant number of young entrepreneurs. The announcement and award ceremony for 6 projects will be held on January 6, 2017 at the FESTIVAL 2017 Program.
