Yesterday, July 6, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Huu Do signed an official dispatch to the Departments of Education and Training agreeing to allow F1 and F1 candidates to take the first round of high school graduation exams if the provincial exam steering committee ensures safety against the Covid-19 epidemic.
For candidates who have to take the second round of exams, the Ministry of Education and Training affirms that it will ensure their rights, from the exam stage to university admission.
Accordingly, the Department of Higher Education has proposed to the Ministry's leaders to consider university and college admissions in 2021 based on high school graduation exam results in one sitting, after two rounds of exams to ensure fairness for candidates, helping schools not have to calculate to reserve admission quotas for the second round.
In case the epidemic becomes more complicated, causing the two high school graduation exams to be too far apart, the Ministry will have further instructions.
