New DNU Pharmacist: “Being satisfied with what we have is a terrible failure”

Vu Thi Huyen Trang is one of the excellent students of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dai Nam University. For 5 years, Huyen Trang has been 'holding' the school's scholarship and 'fixed' in the high-quality Pharmacy class 11-06. This is considered one of the 'fiercely' competitive environments at Dai Nam University because if a student is negligent for just one semester, they will be eliminated from the class.

Vu Thi Huyen Trang represented students to speak at the Graduation Ceremony.

Graduating from university with a degree of Distinction is a worthy achievement for the Pharmacy student. Representing the students to speak in front of the whole school at the Graduation Ceremony, Huyen Trang could not hide her emotion and pride. The words shared by the female pharmacist touched the hearts of all the teachers, parents and students of Dai Nam University.

“Dear delegates, teachers and students!

My name is Vu Thi Huyen Trang - Pharmacy student class 11-06.

Today, I feel very honored and moved to represent the entire course of students to stand here and express my feelings at this very special and solemn ceremony.

Right now, my mood is as nervous and anxious as the first day I set foot in Dai Nam University to complete the application and admission procedures. Perhaps at first, Dai Nam University was not the first and only choice of many people. But because of a fate, we gathered, bonded together under the same roof, and wrote a beautiful story for 4-5 years.

5 years is not a long time but it is enough for me and my fellow students to realize where we stand, what we want, whether our choice is right or not?... Now, we have to leave our beloved school but we will continue to write new chapters of our lives.

And to have a perfect day like today, it is certainly indispensable to express gratitude to all teachers, parents and students of Dai Nam University.

Dear Parents,

First of all, we would like to express our gratitude to our parents - those who always encourage us to overcome difficulties and hardships. Parents and family are always the source of motivation, following our every step, comforting and accepting us in the face of our youthful mistakes. In particular, parents are the ones who silently support and encourage us to pursue our own dreams and ambitions.

I still remember every time my mother called, the first thing she said was not a complaint, “Why have you spent so much money lately?”, but a gentle question: “Mom and Dad miss you. Will you be home this week?”. At that time, to me, this was just a normal sentence. But right now, I understand that, for children far from home, that sentence represents the longing of a parent.

From the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank and remember the immense kindness of my parents. Right here in the hall today, I would like to thank my mother and brother for coming to my graduation ceremony. I would also like to apologize to my mother for my inappropriate behavior. Please forgive me, Mom!

The second gratitude, I would like to send to the teachers of Dai Nam University.

There is a proverb that says “Without a teacher, you cannot succeed”. It is true, without the dedicated guidance of teachers, there would be no students like us today. The teachings and explanations of teachers not only give us knowledge but also bring us experiences and practical lessons, creating a foundation and giving us wings on our future path. It is the dedication, kindness and gentleness of teachers that have helped us to be more sociable and confident right from the first days of entering Dai Nam University.

On behalf of all 600 students attending today's Graduation Ceremony, I would like to send my gratitude, deep appreciation and respect to the teachers!

Dear students, the last word of gratitude is for all of us who always try, never give up and together hold hands to get to this day.

The past 5 years are just the first step on the road to maturity, if we are satisfied with what we have, it is truly a terrible failure. Let's try together, make an effort to develop and improve ourselves. I believe that I and you will do it and will succeed.

After today, we will officially become alumni of Dai Nam University. There will be no more busy hours in the lecture hall or group meetings in the library... All will become beautiful memories that we remember. Wherever we go, whatever we do, we will always be a part of each other, a part of Dai Nam. Let's all try our best for our parents, for the efforts of our teachers and for ourselves.

Finally, I would like to wish Dai Nam University and all faculties to develop sustainably and be the first choice of future generations of students. Once again, I would like to send my best wishes for health and happiness to all teachers, distinguished guests and students.

New pharmacist Huyen Trang presents flowers to thank the School Board.

After graduating, Huyen Trang decided to choose Hanoi as a place to test her abilities and develop her career. The new pharmacist said that she felt a bit sad because she had to leave her hometown and family. However, stepping into life with her own steady steps will help Trang grow and become more mature. The female student believes that she, like other students, will certainly reap sweet rewards and become more and more successful.

“Always try, try and try every day and every hour to improve yourself, both professionally and morally. Be resilient and courageous to stand up after failures and we will definitely succeed,” Trang affirmed.
