(Regarding the plan to organize the first admission round of the 12th regular program)

Based on the 2018 Dai Nam University Regular Enrollment Plan. The Admissions Council announces the plan to organize the first admission reception for the 12th regular program of Dai Nam University.

I - TIME AND PLACE
  1. Time
August 6, 2018
  • Morning: 7:30 to 12:00
  • Afternoon: From 13:30 to 17:30
  1. Location
Dai Nam University, campus number 56, Vu Trong Phung, Thanh Xuan, Hanoi City.

II - ADMISSION ORGANIZATION PLAN

1. Ingredients
1.1. Steering Committee
  • Dr. Luong Cao Dong - Chairman of the Board of Directors
  • MSc. Nguyen Viet Anh - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors
  • Dr. Le Thi Thanh Huong - Vice President of the Board of Directors
  • Mr. Le Ngoc Thang - Deputy Head of Admissions Department
  • Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Le - Head of Accounting Department
  • Mr. Duong Trong Chau - Head of Student Management Department
  • Ms. Thai Thu Phuong - Head of International Relations Department
  • Head of specialized departments
1.2 Implementing staff
  • The Admissions Department, Training Department, Finance and Accounting Department, Student Management Department, Administrative Management Department, specialized Faculties and volunteer student teams participated in welcoming candidates for the 2018 full-time program at Dai Nam University as planned.
  • Staff involved in welcoming incoming students study the welcoming process and have proper manners and attitudes during the admission process.
  • Specific tasks
  • 2.1. Administrative Department
  • Hang a banner to welcome students with the content: " WELCOME NEW STUDENTS OF K12"
  • Prepare 2 tables in the 4th floor stairwell (between rooms 4.1 and 4.2) for student volunteers to distribute queue numbers and guide admission procedures;
  • Arrange 04 water bottles and 400 paper cups in the hallway to serve students and parents;
  • Prepare room 4.2 according to the attached diagram to organize admission (Appendix 2) :
  • Prepare 06 computers connected to the network + 03 printers (4 computers at 04 admission desks and 02 computers at 02 tuition collection desks, 2 computers print on 01 printer)
  • Prepare room 4.1 for parents and candidates to wait for admission;
  • Coordinate with the Faculties to prepare billboards introducing training majors/fields to hang in the lobby area on the first floor and in the front yard.
  • Prepare rooms 4.3 and 4.4 for specialized faculties to advise parents and students (room 4.3 for health and social sciences; room 4.4 for economics and engineering) ; In the rooms, place tables around the room, with names of the faculties on the boards so that students can easily find the consultation desk.
  • Prepare water bottles and paper cups in rooms 4.1, 4.3, 4.4 (each room has 2 water bottles and 200 paper cups) and 01 water bottle + 100 paper cups in the lobby on the 1st floor;
  • Show introductory clips about the school continuously in rooms 4.1, 4.3 and 4.4;
  • Prepare 01 school car to pick up candidates to visit Phu Lam facility.
  • Rent a 16-seat car to pick up candidates to visit Phu Lam campus (Departing from 56 Vu Trong Phung: 9:00 and 10:30; each trip takes 90 minutes, including 45 minutes for travel and 45 minutes for sightseeing). On both sides of the car there is a banner: "Dai Nam University - Car serving students entering school"
  • Arrange staff to welcome candidates to visit and register at the Dormitory, contact for accommodation:
+ At Facility 56 Vu Trong Phung: Arrange a reception desk to introduce the dormitory and accommodation at the Teachers' Lounge on the 4th floor + Standy to introduce the dormitory - according to Appendix 3 (Mr. Tran Huy Viet introduces and receives requests to register for the dormitory, Mr. Tran Huy Doanh introduces contacts for accommodation for students in need, 05 volunteer students);
+ At Phu Lam facility: 01 dormitory manager + 01 student management officer on duty to introduce students to visit and receive registration to stay in the dormitory.

2.2. Admissions Department
  • Prepare the candidates' admission documents : arrange by major, in ascending order; gather the documents in room 4.2 before 8:00 a.m. on August 6, 2018 according to the correct admission desk location of each major.
  • Provide the list of successful candidates (soft copy) to the Training Department to update in the management software before 14:00 on August 5, 2018.
  • Prepare documents, publications, student admission guides, organize training for staff involved in admission reception.
  • Guide and answer questions about student records and admission procedures.
    1. Training Department
  • Complete the August study plan for K12 students before 5:00 p.m. on June 3, 2018.
  • Arrange 04 staff to do admission procedures at 04 desks according to admission blocks (health block, technical block, economic block, social sciences and humanities block)
  • Receive additional documents to the admission file to complete the admission file; add information to the admission list to have an admission list according to the form of the Ministry of Education and Training;
  • Admission procedures for candidates;
  • 2.3. Finance and Accounting Department
  • Assign 02 officers to collect student fees according to Dai Nam University's regulations.
    1. 4. Student Management Office
  • Assign staff to support welcoming students to enroll: Receive student confirmation forms, bus ticket applications, dormitory registration forms...
  • Create a map showing the location of the dormitory and answer questions for new students about the school's procedures and regulations.
  • Coordinate with the Youth Union to send 05 volunteer students to guide candidates and parents to the locations and positions of the school's departments. Student volunteers support to take candidates to visit Phu Lam facility when candidates have a need;
    1. 5. Specialized Departments:
  • Faculty leaders, staff and lecturers gather in rooms 4.3 and 4.4 as assigned; prepare consultation content to introduce to new students about the Faculty, majors, training programs, job opportunities and student development orientation when studying at Dai Nam University.
  • The Faculty of Pharmacy assigns staff to be on duty at Phu Lam facility to guide candidates to visit the practice area;
  • Advise candidates on study methods, career orientation...
    1. 6. Youth Union:
  • Send 30 student volunteers to support admission work:
+ 05 students on duty at Phu Lam to guide candidates on the tour;
+ 05 students welcome candidates at the lobby on the 1st floor of Vu Trong Phung campus;
+ 10 students support admission procedures on the 4th floor of Vu Trong Phung campus;
+ 05 support candidates to rent accommodation;
  • The Secretary of the Youth Union coordinated with the Steering Committee to organize training for student volunteers at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, August 3, 2018 in room 2.2.
  • Appoint 01 Executive Committee member to receive the Youth Union book;

Appendix 1: ADMISSION PROCESS
Step 1 : Student volunteers and student managers classify candidates:
+ Candidates with a notice of completed application will be guided to the Admissions Office to confirm admission and receive an admission notice;
+ Candidates who have received admission notices will be given a queue number and guided to room 4.1 to wait for admission;
Step 2 : Student volunteers and student managers, based on the number of candidates who have completed procedures at the admission desk, call 5 candidates for each exam group from the waiting room (4.1) to the admission procedure room (4.2). Here, students complete their application at the admission desk, pay tuition at the cashier desk and submit their union book at the Youth Union desk;
Step 3 : After completing the admission procedures, students will be guided to rooms 4.3 and 4.4 for consultation on majors, training programs, job opportunities and student development directions when studying at Dai Nam University or for consultation on dormitories.
Students who wish to visit the dormitory and Phu Lam facility are directed to the first floor where student volunteers will assist with transportation.
