Following the success of the first season of the program " Warm Winter Love " , the Student Volunteer Team, with the permission of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of Dai Nam University, continues to organize the second season of the program " Warm Winter Love " with some changes drawn from the experience of organizing the first time.

Effectively deploy charity funds for the small programs " Warm Clothes " and " Dai Nam Bookcase " in the large program " Warm Winter of Love" with contributions from kind-hearted people, departments and staff, lecturers and students of Dai Nam University.

Stemming from sincere feelings and meaningful, clear social goals are the factors that ensure the success of this program! However, to have the best propaganda effect, the Dai Nam University Volunteer Student Team really needs the attention and sharing of teachers. Let's open our hearts to join the Dai Nam University Volunteer Student Team to bring a little warmth to the children in the mountainous area of Thuong Binh Commune, Bac Quang District, Ha Giang Province.

The volunteer student team hopes to have a more successful second season of the “Warm Winter Love” program. To make the program a success, the volunteer student team really needs the attention, support and help of teachers and staff of the Departments of the University.

The volunteer student team would like to send teachers the detailed content of the program:

Program plan "Winter of love" season II

1. "Warm Coat" Program

1.1. Purpose

- Share the hardships of ethnic minorities in winter by donating old clothes and shoes.

- Lighting up the dream of going to school for children in remote areas.

- Through charity activities, students understand and appreciate life more.

1.2. Information about the program location

Boarding Primary and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities in Thuong Binh Commune, Bac Quang District, Ha Giang Province.

Distance from Hanoi: 252km

As one of the three poorest communes of Bac Quang district, it belongs to the government's 135th category.

Very few charitable organizations target it.

The population is mainly Mong ethnic group, life is still backward and full of bad customs.

1.3. Detailed plan

* Program launch and dissemination time: December 1, 2015 - December 15, 2015

* Time to call for support: December 7, 2015 - January 16, 2016.

The donation table will be located at the 1st floor lobby at two locations: Phu Lam and 56 Vu Trong Phung starting from: December 7, 2015 - January 16, 2016.

* Expected time: Expected to take place in 2 days in mid-January 2016

* The expected number of gifts to be given to the primary and secondary boarding school for ethnic minorities in Thuong Binh commune includes:

+ 50 coats for 50 children in the most difficult circumstances: 70,000/coat x 50 = 3,500,000 VND

+ 100 pairs of rubber boots for primary school children: 40,000/pair x 100 = 4,000,000 VND

+ 50 lunch trays for boarding students: 50,000/tray x 50 = 2,500,000 VND

+ Old clothes taken from the clothing warehouse of the Dai Nam University Volunteer Student Team

+ In addition, we will call for more support for study lamps for the children.

* Total expected amount of support: 10,000,000 VND

* Form of support: Cash or items on the gift list.

The first season of the "Warm Winter Love " program , held in Doan Ket commune, Da Bac district, Hoa Binh province, was very successful with enthusiastic support from the school and departments of Da Bac district. Below are some pictures of the first season program:

2. "Dai Nam Bookshelf" program

2.1. Purpose

- Illuminate knowledge for poor children in mountainous areas

- Take advantage of student documents and books that are no longer in use.

2.2. Detailed content

- Launched with the program "Warm Winter of Love" 2015, calling on staff, lecturers and students to support textbooks of all levels, stories, newspapers and recycle notebooks that are still usable.

- The volunteer student team of Dai Nam University receives books, reference materials, stories, newspapers and notebooks, then sorts and renews them.

- Form of support: In-kind and cash

- Presented to the primary and secondary boarding school for ethnic minorities in Thuong Binh commune, Bac Quang district, Ha Giang province a bookcase named "Dai Nam Bookcase" with the school's logo and name with categories of textbooks, comics, novels, newspapers and reference materials.

- Budget estimate:

+ Cost of refurbishing books: 500,000 VND

+ Cost to build a new bookcase: 1,000,000 VND

Total cost: 1,500,000 VND

3. In conjunction with the Warm Winter program in Thuong Binh commune, the volunteer student team of Dai Nam University in collaboration with the delegation of Dai Nam University and Bac Quang District Youth Union also organized sideline programs:

* Cultural and artistic exchange, film screening for children

* Provincial program on agricultural extension for ethnic minorities in difficult and extremely difficult situations in the pilot commune of Thuong Binh.

* Support scholarships "Recycled bottles light up the future" for disadvantaged children to excel in their studies in the commune.
