Paid internship and work opportunities in Japan for DNU Japanese Language students

According to Dr. Vu Thuy Nga - Head of the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture: The curriculum, textbooks, and documents of the Faculty are all guaranteed to follow the approved training program and are aimed at standardization according to Japanese standards. The Faculty's Japanese language program emphasizes practicality and experience for learners. Accordingly, students are fully equipped with knowledge and skills to be able to study practically with Japanese lecturers from the first year of university and receive maximum support to participate in paid internship programs in Japan from the second year.

Paid internship opportunities from the second year of university
With the motto “100% of graduates have jobs in their majors, have opportunities to develop their careers and themselves in an international environment”, the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture constantly expands strategic cooperation with Vietnamese and Japanese enterprises. The purpose is to give students many opportunities to experience reality, practice and improve their Japanese and professional skills, and have paid internships at Japanese enterprises right from when they are students.
Dai Nam University signed a cooperation agreement with the Organization for the Promotion of Overseas Human Resources Development (OMDO).
During the course of study, students have the opportunity to receive scholarships to participate in practical internship programs, training, and field trips from 3-7 days at large Japanese businesses and corporations.
In addition, students from the 2nd year and above with Japanese proficiency equivalent to JLPT N3 will have the opportunity to do paid internships in Japan for 6-12 months at the Faculty's partner companies such as: Sekai Jinzai Co., Ltd., Hirado Kaijo Hotel, Overseas Human Resources Development Organization (OMDO), KPG Hotel & Resort Group, H&S Co., Ltd., Hakuunsha Vietnam Co., Ltd., Enterprises belonging to the Vietnam Business Association in Japan VBJA...
Third and fourth year students are supported to connect with businesses, participate in recruitment interviews, and become official employees and specialists of domestic and foreign Japanese businesses. After graduation, students have the opportunity to go to Japan to work with extremely attractive income.
Currently, more than 30 students of the 14th and 15th courses of the Faculty have the opportunity to do paid internships at Japanese enterprises in positions such as: e-commerce sales staff, office staff, receptionists, waiters, etc. Internship salaries range from 1200 - 1500 USD/month (equivalent to 28-35 million VND/month).
Nguyen Thi Quynh Anh, a student of class 14.01, shared: “Internship in Japan brings me many new experiences. I get to set foot in my favorite country, work in a professional, modern environment; practice skills, expertise, foreign language proficiency and earn extra income for myself. If the school and teachers in the Japanese Language and Culture Department had not created favorable conditions for me, I would never have had such a good internship opportunity.”

Enterprises create conditions for DNU students to work in Japan
After completing the internship, DNU Japanese Language students can stay in Japan to work if they meet the requirements of the company and achieve Japanese proficiency equivalent to N2. To work long-term in Japan, students must have an understanding of the culture, country, people and rules in the Japanese business environment. These are all cultivated during their studies at the Faculty and practical internships in Japan.

04 admission methods to Japanese Language major at Dai Nam University:
In the 2023-2024 school year, the Japanese Language Department (code: 7220209) of Dai Nam University will enroll 100 full-time university students according to 4 admission methods:
- Method 1: Use the results of 03 subjects from the high school graduation exam results according to the registered combination for admission consideration.
- Method 2: Use the transcript results, scores of 03 subjects from the 12th grade high school study results according to the registered combination for admission consideration.
- Method 3: Direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the School.
- Method 4: Admission of foreign high school graduates.
