Preliminary survey of educational institution accreditation cycle 2: Dai Nam University firmly steps on the journey to ensure educational quality

Educational quality assessment is an indispensable process to assess the standard level of higher education institutions. With the goal of continuously improving the quality of training, Dai Nam University has actively prepared for the second cycle of educational quality assessment. The recent preliminary survey is an important step marking the school's continuous efforts.

On the afternoon of October 15, 2024, the External Assessment Team of the Center for Education Quality Assessment - Hanoi National University conducted a preliminary online survey at the school. This event marked an important step in the journey to build and develop a modern learning environment that meets the increasing needs of society.

Attending the preliminary survey, on the side of the Center for Quality Assurance of Education - VNU, there was the presence of Dr. Ta Thi Thu Hien - Director of the Center.

On the side of the Delegation, there were Prof. Dr. Bang Tien Long - Former Permanent Deputy Minister of Education and Training - Head of the Delegation; Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Former Head of the Department of Science Management and Development Cooperation - Institute for Education Quality Assurance - Vietnam National University, Hanoi - Secretary; MSc. Vu Duy Nam - Supervisor.

On the side of Dai Nam University, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Hong - Principal - Chairman of the Self-Assessment Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thi Thu Giang - Vice Principal, Vice Chairman of the Self-Assessment Council, along with members of the Self-Assessment Council, heads of units, heads of Faculties, Departments, Boards, Institutes, and Centers in the university.

The Evaluation Delegation highly appreciated Dai Nam University’s efforts in building and developing a quality assurance system. The experts were particularly impressed with:

The preliminary survey ended with the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding between the leaders of the Center for Educational Quality Assessment - VNU, the Head of the Evaluation Delegation and the School Principal.

The preliminary survey is an important milestone, affirming Dai Nam University's continuous efforts in improving the quality of education. With the consensus of all staff, lecturers and students, the school believes that it will successfully pass the official accreditation and continue to affirm its position in the Vietnamese education system.

The official survey time of the Evaluation Team at Dai Nam University will take place from October 25 to 29, 2024.
