According to Ms. Thai Ha, Business Administration has always been at the top of universities in the field of economics. Before 1986, Vietnam was a country of "scholars - farmers - workers - merchants", businessmen were considered "merchants" and were not highly regarded in society.

Also because of the mentality of not valuing business people, Vietnam's economy from then until now, despite many innovations and changes, still cannot compare with the great powers.

To improve this problem, the role of the education sector is to change people's thinking and perception, encourage Vietnamese people to study and do business. The poorer you are, the more you have to do business. "Maybe LK does not understand the macro role of Business Administration, so he made such a statement," said Ms. Ha.

The female department head also added: "Everyone understands that science and technology always need to develop in parallel with business. An invention idea will forever remain in the research room if there is a lack of people with the business mind and knowledge to bring it to the market, becoming a product that everyone can use.

Besides, when you work in a business, you will understand that to be able to go further in your career, to become a manager or even start a business, you will realize that specialized knowledge does not help you as much as knowledge and thinking about business administration and human resources management.

At that time, people rush to find knowledge to learn, and then wish they had known this knowledge earlier. Even for people working in human resources, like me, it seems like they only need knowledge about human resources, but if you lack knowledge about business administration, you can only do HR in the shell, and will never be respected by other departments. Faced with the question: "Will studying Business Administration cause unemployment?", Phuc Loc boldly shared: "Of course there will be, but unemployment will be shared equally among all majors and with many new graduates lacking capacity.

Not every student who studies drawing will become an artist, or every student who studies finance will become a bank employee. Not every student who studies finance will become a bank employee. Not having a well-off family is just the first obstacle on the path to becoming rich."

The perception that your family is rich or your parents have assets that you can manage after graduation only accounts for a very small percentage. Because business is like a battlefield, there will be many fluctuations over time."

"The path to wealth depends only on yourself, not on your family. If it's great that you have a well-off family, don't be sad, you can also get rich based on your own thoughts, thinking and abilities," Phuc Loc emphasized.

He added: "At the age of 18, there are still many dreams, but when you reach adulthood, you will know who you are, what you need to do and what experiences you need to succeed.

There is no job or field of study that is redundant on your journey to wealth. Therefore, there is no field of study that is for the rich and there is no field of study that is for the rich's children."

What do Business Administration instructors say?

Mr. Truong Duc Thao (Deputy Dean of Business Administration, Dai Nam University) shared: "From bachelor's to doctoral degree, I have been majoring in Business Administration. When I heard this point of view, I had to think a lot, more than that, I was worried in my mind because of the wrong and one-sided views."

Mr. Thao replied: "I watched LK's clip, I do not object because that is his personal viewpoint. But Business Administration is not like mathematics, physics, basic science..., it seems that nothing is absolute, nothing is completely right or completely wrong, but only reasonable or not.

Therefore, people say that business administration is an art. If the person who approaches it has a political orientation and understanding of business administration when choosing a major, it will not affect the schools that are training in this major at all.

The two main foundations include: "Management guides us to set goals, build plans, organize implementation, and control to achieve goals.

Business guides us to the process of creating value through activities such as: input logistics, operations/production, output logistics, marketing and sales, services, infrastructure, human resource management, procurement management, research and development/innovation management...

From this foundation, learners will have general thinking to apply to solving problems in life, at work, in specialized fields...".

Mr. Thao affirmed that studying Business Administration does not depend on whether you come from a rich or poor background, noble or humble, rural or urban...

As a lecturer and manager of a Business Administration training unit, Mr. Thao also expressed his personal opinion on the importance of Business Administration.

"Studying Business Administration helps us set goals for ourselves or the organization we work for through correctly assessing the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and risks of ourselves and the organization.

Studying Business Administration helps us know how to plan/build strategies to realize goals. Studying Business Administration helps us know how to organize, operate, coordinate, and allocate limited resources to achieve desired goals.

Finally, "After graduating from Business Administration, you can be a boss, you can also be an employee, but you will definitely always be the master of the "game" (the word "game" is in quotation marks)".
