Looking at the future of the Nursing industry, we can see many shortcomings in the industry that need to be resolved. First of all, there is a shortage of quality nursing staff for society, because society currently has many schools training many nursing majors at the university, college, intermediate level, etc., but they do not really focus on training good professionals after graduation.

Training and ensuring quality human resources are still limited, with a high rate of serious imbalance in the quantity and structure of human resources in the profession.

Along with that is the problem of the Nursing policy system lacking uniformity and lacking career stimulation factors. Nursing human resources in Vietnam are also lacking in terms of facilities and learning opportunities to integrate with countries in the region and the world. For that reason, the Nursing industry in Vietnam needs special attention and effective solutions for future development.



Development solutions for the future of Nursing

Looking at the difficulties that the Nursing industry is facing, each organization needs to have effective solutions towards the development of the profession in the future.

Specifically, the Head of Nursing Department of Universities, Colleges and Secondary Schools must be a Nurse. Hospitals and medical facilities must constantly improve the quality of care services; build models and typical projects to serve as standards; build quality standards such as care techniques according to the standards of regional countries; invest in medical facilities, equipment and working conditions for nurses;...

In addition, the nursing staff constantly improves medical ethics and professional ethics to perfect nursing skills; enhance training quality, ensure that learning goes hand in hand with practice. Universities need to standardize knowledge and practice facilities; open training courses for teachers and managers;...

In addition, human resource development is also an important requirement of society for the Nursing industry in general and for university and college training institutions in particular. It is necessary to conduct surveys to determine the demand for human resources in hospitals, medical facilities, and the community; have policies on recruitment, treatment, and use of appropriate professions and emulation titles; and stipulate professional titles and civil servant titles corresponding to training degrees.

Faced with the above-mentioned situation and solutions to improve human resources in the Vietnamese Nursing industry, the Ministry of Education and Training needs to pay closer attention to the employment activities of medical facilities and the training activities of nursing schools.

In November 2016, the Ministry of Education and Training allowed Dai Nam University to provide regular university-level training in Nursing with the goal of training high-quality human resources in the industry to meet the needs of society and actively contribute to solving the current weaknesses in the industry.

With the criteria of expectations for well-trained human resources in the Nursing industry, Dai Nam University focuses on investing in the lecture system, lecturer capacity and enhancing the infrastructure system to serve students.
