“With the School’s strong investment in facilities, practice equipment, and close cooperation with major central and city hospitals as practice and internship facilities for students, the Nursing Department is committed to training nurses with good expertise and good medical ethics.” That is the sharing of Mr. Le Van Duy – Head of Nursing Department, Dai Nam University.
The meeting of new students of K16 of the Faculty of Nursing was attended by the Board of Directors; leaders, staff, lecturers of the Faculty of Nursing; students of courses 13, 14, 15 and all new students of K16 Nursing.
On the guest side, there were: Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong - Head of Nursing Department, Ha Dong General Hospital; BSCKI Nguyen Thu Uyen - Deputy Head of Line Command Department, Ha Dong General Hospital; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai Tam - Executive Director of Vinh Phuc High Technology Joint Stock Company; Mr. Watanabe Yusuke - Head of International Cooperation Department - Kanazawa Provincial Welfare Vocational College, Japan; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hien - Deputy General Director of Labor and Trade Cooperation Joint Stock Company (Labco).
Dai Nam University confidently trains quality nursing bachelors, meeting ASEAN competency standards
Speaking at the opening of the meeting, Mr. Le Van Duy - Head of Nursing Department said: Nursing is a hard but very glorious profession because it is a profession that protects, preserves and develops the most precious human resource - Health.
“To become a good nurse, you not only need to study well but also have to cultivate your will, love your job, and behave in a civilized manner; especially, you must have the desire to contribute to the process of protecting and building the country, participating in taking care of the most important resource, which is human health. The Nursing Faculty of Dai Nam University will help you have all of those factors,” affirmed Mr. Duy.
Mr. Le Van Duy committed that the Faculty will train a generation of dedicated and visionary nurses in the future.
Accordingly, the Nursing training program of Dai Nam University is built according to ASEAN standards. Right from the first year of university, students are given systematic practice on modern skillslab models, helping them gain basic professional knowledge before coming into contact with patients at the practice hospital.

Dr. Le Thi Thanh Huong directed the leadership, staff and lecturers of the Nursing Department to consider students as their own children and to wholeheartedly teach and guide them.
Hospital systems from central to city level are ready to accompany DNU in the training process.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong - Head of Nursing Department of Ha Dong General Hospital shared: "I highly appreciate the practical training program, the facilities, practice equipment, the quality of the teaching staff as well as the close coordination between the School and hospitals and businesses. Students need to grasp these advantages to study well from the beginning. Ha Dong General Hospital is ready to receive, create conditions and guide internships for students of the Nursing Faculty of Dai Nam University".
Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong affirmed that she will create all conditions for students of the Nursing Faculty, Dai Nam University to practice at Ha Dong General Hospital.
Dai Nam University is cooperating with many large hospitals in Hanoi, such as: Bach Mai Hospital, Central Obstetrics Hospital, Central Psychiatric Hospital I, Xanh-pon General Hospital, Thanh Nhan General Hospital, Ha Dong General Hospital... so that students have a place to practice applying the knowledge learned in the classroom into practice, while accessing real health care activities at medical facilities. When doing their internship, DNU Nursing students are guided by health care experts with many years of working experience in accordance with the signed cooperation agreement.
Continuously develop yourself with internship and work opportunities in Japan
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hien - Deputy General Director of Labor and Trade Cooperation Joint Stock Company (Labco) said : "With close ties with hospitals, nursing homes, and health care facilities in 47 provinces and cities of Japan; we offer the most optimal support mechanisms so that students of the Nursing Faculty of Dai Nam University can go to Japan to work after completing their study program. In the near future, Labco will have a direct and specific meeting with teachers of the Nursing Faculty on this issue."
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hien shared about the job support program in Japan for Nursing students after graduation.
In addition, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai Tam - Executive Director of Vinh Phuc High Technology and Mr. Watanabe Yusuke - Head of International Cooperation Department - Kanazawa Provincial Welfare Vocational College, Japan said: Nursing students of Dai Nam University can also do internships in Japan while they are students under the company's Intership program.
