Scientific workshop to evaluate the innovative training program of Dai Nam University's IT industry: What do leading IT experts in Vietnam say?

Implementing the will to innovate the training program (CTDT) of the Information Technology (IT) industry in the direction of technology application; meeting the digital transformation requirements of enterprises; achieving competency standards for students upon graduation at Dai Nam University (knowledge - skills - positive attitude) in the context of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution, on the afternoon of January 18, 2022, Dai Nam University organized a scientific workshop to evaluate the training program of the IT industry with the participation of experts and leading enterprises in the IT field in Vietnam.

The IT training program evaluation workshop gathered experts and leading businesses in the IT field.

Attending the Workshop, on behalf of Dai Nam University, there were Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the University Council, Board of Directors, Training Department and all leaders, staff and lecturers of the Faculty of Information Technology.

On the expert side, the workshop was honored to have the participation of Dr. Nguyen Quan - former Minister of Science and Technology; Prof. Dr. Tran Van Nhung - former Deputy Minister of Education and Training; Prof. Dr. Lieutenant General Pham The Long - former Director of the Military Technical Academy; Prof. David Duc Tran - lecturer at Boston University (USA); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Quoc Tao - Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Quynh - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Information Technology, Thuyloi University; Dr. Vu Viet Thang - Head of the Faculty of Information Technology, Hanoi University of Industry...

The workshop also had the presence of representatives of leading enterprises in the IT field, such as: Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Hong Quang - Chairman of CadPro Company; Dr. Tran Ha Thanh - Director of TMG Company; Mr. Luu Van Hau - representative of I3 Company and Zoho Vietnam; Mr. Nguyen Viet Lam - Deputy General Director of Rikkei soft Company; Mr. Le Phu Cuong - Deputy Director of FDS Company; Mr. Nguyen Nhat Quang - Chairman of Hai Hoa Technology Company...

Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the School Board highly appreciated the contributions and experience sharing of the experts.

Speaking at the opening of the workshop, Dr. Le Dac Son especially emphasized the urgency of innovating the IT training program; at the same time, he affirmed that Dai Nam University has enough conditions in terms of facilities, finance, and human resources to build and teach an advanced training program to serve the increasing demand for IT learning at the University, well meeting the demand for IT human resources for digital transformation of enterprises in the context of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution.

He thanked the experts and business representatives for taking their precious time to attend the Workshop and believed that: "The comments and experiences shared by the guests on the contents of the new training program will help Dai Nam successfully innovate the training program, creating a difference..."

The workshop heard Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Ai Viet - Head of the Faculty of Information Technology introduce the innovation program; Dr. Nguyen Van Tuan - Deputy Head of the Faculty introduce the reformed training program framework; MSc. Nguyen Duc Thien - lecturer reported on the effectiveness of implementing the teaching of 6 subjects in the new training program for first-year students (K15).

The workshop ended at 6:00 p.m. the same day. The Chairman of the School Council sincerely thanked the scientists for participating in the workshop and expressed his hope that the scientists would always contribute ideas to the IT industry of Dai Nam University in the reform journey.
