Nowadays, in schools, if anyone still thinks that Soft Skills is just a subject supporting Hard Skills, then that is a big mistake. And anyone who does not learn Soft Skills is really disadvantaged. Soft Skills has become an essential subject to help train a person to develop comprehensively, to be a human, to work and live with the community and with nature.

Recognizing the role of Soft Skills, Dai Nam University, initiated by Dr. Le Dac Son - Cao Thi Hoa, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Vice Principal, established the Soft Skills department and made it a compulsory subject for every student. Although it has not been in operation for long, the department has quickly gained strength thanks to its dedicated team of teachers and a carefully compiled curriculum with the help of famous experts. Because I have studied and trained regularly in Soft Skills, when interacting and working with teachers and students of Dai Nam University, I am impressed by their extremely pleasant working style, attitude, and behavior, leaving many good and memorable impressions. That is also reflected in the results of the interactions and work, which are always smooth and effective, and the results are often greater than expected.

Not only teaching at school, the school's Board of Directors also advocates "Exporting" Soft Skills to many places, through extracurricular programs and through teachers invited to teach. Last August, on the 16th and 17th, Dai Nam University and the Dong Tien Commune Education Promotion Association, Yen Phong District, Bac Ninh Province opened a Soft Skills training class for all teachers of kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools in the commune. The class is part of the school's sponsorship program for the hometown of Mr. and Mrs. Le Dac Son - Cao Thi Hoa, including a scholarship of 500 million VND per school year for students from Dong Tien Commune studying at the school and Soft Skills training courses for students, teachers, and parents. Recently, in addition to opening the first Soft Skills class for teachers, new student Nguyen Thi Thu was honored to receive the Scholarship Decision from Chairman of the Board of Directors Le Dac Son at the School Year Honor Ceremony organized by the People's Committee and the Dong Tien Commune Education Promotion Association on August 25, 2019.

Through the above Soft Skills class, Dong Tien kindergarten, primary and secondary school teachers realized that: The general education teaching staff is lacking Soft Skills and needs to be taught, not just for students. Therefore, they are diligent, passionate, listening to lectures as if they had never been to school, even though the weather is so hot! And there is a strange detail: When the teacher stopped teaching, ending the class, more than 100 students still sat quietly for about 3 minutes, as if they did not know that the class was over, making the teachers and students burst into laughter, extremely happy and moved! 100% of the teachers together recommended to Mr. Luong Cao Dong, the principal and Mr. Cao Van Ha, Honorary Chairman of the "Big Dream" Scholarship Fund of Dong Tien commune, to open more classes and courses for them to learn, so that teachers can pass them on to their students.

Their sincere and simple confidences made the teachers of the Soft Skills class extremely touched. And we, the members of the Dong Tien Commune Learning Promotion Association, were also very grateful and happy. Because that means the new Learning Promotion Model has been done correctly, has followed the motto that Learning Promotion is not only about helping with material and spiritual things, but also about helping practically by fostering knowledge for students, teachers and parents. Because the current teaching and learning program in general schools is still lacking in knowledge about Soft Skills. To train a well-rounded person, it is not only necessary to have scientific knowledge or general culture, while daily life requires interaction between people and people, between people and nature, so much knowledge about behavioral skills is needed. Therefore, the next program between Dai Nam University and Dong Tien Commune Education Promotion Association will take place with many more classes and training courses on Soft Skills, the most recent of which will be a training course for parents of students. This is also the passion and sentiment of Mr. Le Dac Son and Ms. Cao Thi Hoa, who want to contribute to the development of education in their hometown Dong Tien.

As for us, the people who promote education in Dong Tien have been and will be making every effort to have more Soft Skills training classes and courses for students, teachers, parents and many other subjects. But more importantly, it is the expectation of a change in awareness for everyone in the society about the essential role of Soft Skills in education, in order to build Dong Tien people to develop comprehensively and sustainably.
