Strategic Partnership Between Hanoi Lung Hospital and Dai Nam University to Train High-Quality Medical Personnel

Hanoi Lung Hospital and Dai Nam University have officially signed a cooperation agreement to train high-quality medical personnel. This event marks an important step in developing future generations of medical students with strong expertise, good skills, and high professional ethics, meeting the increasing healthcare needs of the community.

With the signed cooperation agreement, Hanoi Lung Hospital officially becomes a practice facility for medical students from Dai Nam University, alongside other top partner hospitals of the university such as: Xanh-Pôn General Hospital, Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, Ha Dong General Hospital, Viet Duc Hospital, Vietnam - Cuba Friendship Hospital, Ha Dong Traditional Medicine Hospital, etc.

Both parties agreed to focus on student-centered training based on competencies; closely collaborate in developing programs, plans, organizing practical training, and evaluating practical results. Students will be guided by a team of Professors, Associate Professors, Doctors, and Specialist Doctors I and II.

Dr. Hoang Van Huan, Deputy Director of the Hospital, committed to supporting and facilitating the practical training of Dai Nam University medical students. He also expressed a desire to engage more deeply with the university in scientific research and training to produce high-quality medical personnel.

Dr. Le Thi Thanh Huong, President of Dai Nam University, emphasized: “Medicine is a field directly related to human health and life. If not trained well and not connected with hospitals and reality, it will produce low-quality doctors. With the accompaniment of Hanoi Lung Hospital, we believe that students will gain practical exposure, improve skills, and develop comprehensively.”

Prof. Hoang Duc Hanh, Head of the Faculty of Medicine, stated that the faculty has built a detailed internship schedule, allowing students to "stick to the hospital" all day, participate in night shifts, weekends, and holidays; thereby increasing practical learning opportunities and giving doctors more time to teach.

“We hope that doctors will consider Dai Nam University students as their own children, guiding and teaching them to become knowledgeable, skilled, and proficient professionals,...” said Prof. Hoang Duc Hanh.

This cooperation agreement opens a new, promising phase in training and developing high-quality medical personnel, closely combining theory and practice, and strengthening the "Hospital-School" relationship.
