With the desire to equip students of Finance and Banking with the best practical knowledge and skills in addition to theoretical lessons in the classroom. Every year, the Faculty of Finance and Banking, Dai Nam University regularly invites speakers who are experts from commercial banks, financial institutions and enterprises so that students can directly listen, exchange and feel the rhythm of business life, especially in a competitive and dynamic field like Finance and Banking.

On the morning of November 5, at the large hall of Dai Nam University, Phu Lam Ha Dong, an exchange activity took place between speaker Nguyen The Anh - Deputy Head of Operations and Risk Assessment Department of Vietin Bank Joint Stock Commercial Bank and students of the Faculty of Finance and Banking, Dai Nam University.

As a useful and practical activity for students, the program attracted the participation of many teachers and students of the Faculty of Finance and Banking.

Speaker Nguyen The Anh, who has worked for many years at Agribank and VietinBank, directly developed Bancassurance products at VietinBank and participated in teaching and training many specialized training courses at VietinBank's Human Resource Training and Development School.

During the meeting, speaker Nguyen The Anh talked, shared and answered students' questions about issues related to banking operations, jobs and challenges when working at a bank... Issues surrounding Bancassurance were focused on by speaker Nguyen The Anh and shared with students.

With the topic "Implementing Bancassurance in Vietnam - current situation and challenges", the speaker pointed out that: Bancassurance (banca + assurance) is a French term used to refer to the sale of insurance products through the banking system to the same customer base. One of the remarkable changes in the insurance - banking business in Vietnam in the past few years is the emergence and birth of models of cooperation between insurance companies and commercial banks in the development and distribution of insurance products through banks (Bancassurance). In practice, the cooperation between insurance and banks has initially formed and developed in Vietnam. This is a distribution channel that has brought benefits to both insurance companies, commercial banks, customers and the staff participating in providing this cross-selling service. With the strategy of shifting and focusing more on less risky non-credit services, with the advantages of this relatively safe business activity, Bancassurance is certainly an inevitable trend of modern banks.
