TCBC: Dai Nam University changes logo and launches new slogan contest

Dai Nam University has gone through 12 years of construction and development. With the educational philosophy of “Learning to change”, training closely linked to real life, Dai Nam University has contributed significantly to the cause of cultivating people, becoming an educational institution trusted by society for training closely linked to practice.

With the mission of providing knowledge for learners to develop comprehensively, training according to social needs, teachers and students are dedicated to contributing to the construction and development of a rich and strong country. Dai Nam University is a university providing multidisciplinary training services with the core training axis of protecting and caring for community health. The goal by 2025, with a vision to 2030, Dai Nam University will become a training address highly trusted by society for " quality training, learning closely linked to practice"; achieving important achievements in scientific research and technology transfer in the scientific field of "protecting - caring for community health" .
Based on the goal of innovation for rapid development and global integration, building the image of Dai Nam University as dynamic, modern, classy, commensurate with the vision, mission, core values, and at the same time best serving the communication activities, image recognition and brand of the University, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dai Nam University signed the Decision to issue and use the new logo. Specifically, starting from March 26, 2019, Dai Nam University will use the new logo image to replace the logo image that has been associated with the University for nearly 12 years.
In terms of imagery, the new logo is designed based on the main color tone of orange; using the symbol of Dong Son bronze drum and the image of the sun on a sunflower background with 16 stars representing the training majors of Dai Nam University. In addition, 16 round dots around the petals symbolize graduating students connecting the circle around the earth with the meaning of global integration.
The new logo uses a youthful, modern sans-serif font, adding a stylized highlight of the two A's forming two hands with the philosophy of "learning to change" - Dai Nam University supports and respects learners, enhances knowledge, and looks towards the future.
To achieve the best results in using the new brand identity, Dai Nam University launched a contest to “Create a new slogan” for the school. Accordingly, all citizens regardless of age, gender, or nationality can participate in the contest. The school will award a prize of up to 50,000,000 VND to the slogan selected as the new slogan of the school.
- Time to receive exam papers: From April 2, 2019 - May 2, 2019.
- Address to send entries: Communication Department, Dai Nam University, 56 Vu Trong Phung Street - Thanh Xuan - Hanoi.
- Time for judging and announcing the prize: Expected 10/05/2019
In order for the new logo and slogan writing contest of the School to be successful and have a wide spread in the social community, the Organizing Committee hopes to receive attention and support from news agencies and media.
