TCBC: The 10th year of the Love Cake Program - Dai Nam University

The "Banh Nghia Tinh" program of Dai Nam University (DNU) has entered its 10th year; mobilizing thousands of staff, lecturers and students to participate in donating and implementing; raising nearly 1.5 billion VND, personally wrapping more than 15,000 banh chung, bringing Tet to tens of thousands of less fortunate people in society. This is one of the annual volunteer activities that makes DNU's brand.

With the aim of helping its students promote the spirit of mutual love and support, and live responsibly for themselves, their families and society, Dai Nam University continuously organizes volunteer programs for the community. One of the most meaningful programs is the Love Cake Program.

After 9 consecutive years of implementation, the Love Cake Program has mobilized thousands of staff, lecturers and students to participate, raising nearly 1.5 billion VND, personally wrapping more than 15,000 Chung cakes, bringing Tet to tens of thousands of less fortunate people in society.

Welcoming the Lunar New Year 2021, Dai Nam University continues to organize the 10th "Banh Nghia Tinh" program with the theme "Tet of Love - Tet of Sharing". The program has the participation of soldiers of Brigade 26 - Air Defense - Air Force. Teachers, students and soldiers will personally wrap and boil banh chung to give to the less fortunate, helping them have a warmer and more meaningful Tet.

This year, the program “Banh Nghia Tinh 2021” is organized within the framework of a banh chung wrapping competition among faculties in the school. In addition, the traditional Tet holiday space will be vividly recreated through sideline activities, such as: New Year's Eve meal competition, Mr. Do giving calligraphy; Wish tree; Folk games... especially the 2021 Spring Greeting Gala program.

- Location: Dai Nam University, No. 1 Pho Xom, Phu Lam, Ha Dong, Hanoi.

- Cake delivery time: From January 27-31, 2021.

- Cake distribution locations: Central Children's Hospital, Xanh Pon General Hospital, Traditional Medicine Hospital - Ministry of Public Security, Central Acupuncture Hospital, Ha Dong General Hospital, Social Protection Center No. 4 Ba Vi - Hanoi; Bien Giang Disabled Children's Center - Ha Dong - Hanoi; Thuan Thanh War Invalids Nursing Center - Bac Ninh; Association of the Blind in My Duc and Ung Hoa districts - Hanoi; poor children, lonely elderly people, homeless people in Hanoi; families of war invalids and martyrs, poor households in Phu Lam and Phu Luong wards - Ha Dong, Hanoi; Tan Son Primary School students - Mai Chau - Hoa Binh... and Dai Nam University staff in difficult circumstances.
