The terrible consequences of global climate change

The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) has warned that by 2030, 126 million people will fall into extreme poverty due to the impact of climate change. The most affected regions are Africa and Southeast Asia.

Global climate change is directly affecting and threatening human life and livelihood.

Also according to the report of WMO,
The 20 hottest years in history all occurred within the past 22 years, and 2018 was the 4th hottest year in history. Over the past 3 years, the Earth's temperature has increased by 1 degree Celsius, sea levels have risen, severe forest fires have occurred consecutively in many countries, bad weather patterns have appeared with higher frequency and more complex and unpredictable developments... These factors have made global climate change the biggest threat to humanity.

World scientists say that " never before has the blue planet suffered the consequences of climate change as seriously as it does now". Global climate change is affecting all aspects of human life. The living environment is seriously affected, leading to disease outbreaks, changing the genetic structure of infectious viruses, creating more dangerous variants. Food security and clean water sources are seriously threatened. Dozens of locations around the world are at risk of being submerged by the ocean .

The results of the recent reports, especially the speech of 15-year-old Swedish girl Greta Thunberg at the 24th Conference of the United Nations on Climate Change (COP 24) in Poland in December 2018, once again sounded the alarm, calling on countries, organizations, and individuals to join hands to take action against global climate change.
