September 21 - In an exciting and enthusiastic atmosphere, the program "Welcome new students of K17 - Connecting, exchanging, developing and Citizenship Week" of the Faculty of Tourism, Dai Nam University took place at Hall 2, Building GĐ 2, Dai Nam University. Dr. Ngo Quang Duy - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Tourism, gave a comprehensive presentation on the training program of Tourism and Travel Services Management. Not only sharing the objectives of the training program, Mr. Duy also opened up the clearest perspective for students of the 17th course on the training philosophy of the Faculty of Tourism, which is practical application, innovation and creativity.

Sharing about the importance of identifying personal core values and setting goals during the learning and working process, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Van Hong - Principal of Dai Nam University said: "Business enterprises must have a Strategy and Plan for development, based on their different values. For students, it is necessary to identify their core values, maintain and promote them to serve the learning and working process, set goals and persistently pursue goals to strive to achieve high results".

He emphasized: "The government has identified tourism as a key economic development sector of the country. The demand for human resources in the Vietnamese tourism industry is very large. The characteristics of this industry require workers to work between people, so students, in addition to improving their foreign language skills, knowing many languages, and being proficient in technology, also need to practice many soft skills to be able to flexibly serve customers from many different countries and cultures."

MSc. Bui Xuan Luan – Deputy Dean of the Faculty emphasized the importance of equipping life skills, including time management, finance, and mental and physical health management.
