Keeping your body safe and healthy is also a way for us to show our gratitude to our parents. Pin the following things to have a safe and meaningful Tet holiday, DNUERs!

How to travel safely?

  • Absolutely obey traffic laws, do not go out at night; avoid going through roads with many trucks, buses, deserted roads at night...
  • Do not drive close to the back of trucks or buses and do not stop between the joints of tractor trailers…

Be very careful when participating in traffic during Tet.

  • Absolutely obey the speed limit, do not try to run red lights (one second fast, one lifetime slow).
  • Do not carry 3 or 4 people and absolutely do not use the phone while driving.
  • Do not take the wrong taxi;
  • When sitting in a taxi, absolutely do not look at your phone and forget to pay attention to the road or the driver's attitude to avoid encountering bad people (especially girls) who can take you to a deserted place to do bad things or sell you into prostitution or go abroad.
  • In case of suspicion of encountering a bad guy, immediately send a signal to relatives for help.

Bus stations are crowded near Tet, be careful to avoid pickpockets, taking the wrong bus, jostling, pushing and shoving causing arguments and fights.

How to eat and live safely?

  • Be careful when drinking alcohol and stimulants: Fake alcohol; Excessive alcohol leads to poisoning or lack of emotional control leads to fighting...

Be careful when drinking alcohol during Tet, don't force each other to drink.

The risk of dirty, unsanitary food is everywhere.

  • Control food sources to ensure hygiene and safety of life.
  • Eat and sleep according to solar hours to ensure long-term health while studying and working.

Exercise for a healthy and beautiful Tet.

Do not store or use fireworks or prohibited substances.

Tet holiday is a time for fun and socializing. Be extremely vigilant of people who may entice you to “do business” by using or illegally transporting illegal substances. A moment of fun can ruin your whole life and could lead to jail time.

Avoid gambling

Tet is a time for gathering and enjoying spring. It is very easy to lead to "Household evil deeds". Absolutely stay away from gambling dens because it is very possible to fall into "the desire to win and lose" leading to debt, being caught will ruin your future education career...

Stay close to family and learn to say I love you

Make the most of the time you have with your parents. Know how to express and say love to your parents. The people who raised us to grow up and mature...

Remember the back to school schedule

Have fun but don’t forget the second semester schedule. To avoid traffic jams, jostling, pushing, not being able to book a bus, etc., students should proactively book bus tickets early; should go to school 1-2 days in advance to clean the dormitory, make it clean and airy to rest and have the spirit to study.

Prepare your supplies, re-read your books, and review your knowledge so you won't be 'surprised' when you return to school. For students who have exams scheduled after Tet, you need to study hard to pass the exam successfully.

Make sure you stay healthy and mentally fit to get back to the "learning groove" soon!

Enjoy the New Year but must absolutely ensure safety, health, maintain good health and spirit to have a complete and reunited new year.

Wishing you and your family a new year of Peace – Prosperity – Luck – Happiness.
