- Construction Economics and Construction Engineering majors are trained in 04 years - 12 semesters.

- The training program of Construction Economics, Construction Engineering, and Architecture at Dai Nam University is designed in accordance with Vietnam's training regulations; at the same time, it is suitable for international standards, enhancing the value of traditional engineering and architectural degrees.

The Head of the Faculty of Construction Economics and Management is Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Bao. Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Bao has nearly 40 years of teaching experience and more than 20 years of management experience.

8. Where do students practice and intern?

8.1. 03 internship modules

- Technical worker internship: Students go to construction sites to live, study, and work as construction workers to create simple construction products, putting into practice the theories learned in class.

- Internship: Students are exposed to the daily work of departments in the enterprise, periodic reports, and decisions of all levels in the enterprise. At the end of the internship, students will make a detailed report on the actual situation of the enterprise, difficulties and obstacles, and propose directions for overcoming and developing.

- Graduation internship: Carry out contents related to: design documents; determine norms, unit prices; determine total construction investment, construction estimates; establish and appraise construction investment projects; contractor selection activities; applied computer software; synthesize, compare, supplement professional knowledge between theory and practice of internship participation.

8.2. Internship at leading companies in the field

The Faculty of Economics and Construction Management has signed training cooperation agreements with leading enterprises in the field of construction design such as: TSQ Vietnam Company; ACC-244 Joint Stock Company; TECCO Group Joint Stock Company; Investment and Development Joint Stock Company No. 18; Hanoi Infrastructure Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Joint Stock Company; TDS Vietnam Joint Stock Company; LOCHOUSE Construction Investment Joint Stock Company; DESIGN PLUS Architecture Joint Stock Company; LINNCONCEPT Interior Architecture Company Limited; Binh Minh Mechanical and Electrical Technology Joint Stock Company; ... These are the practice and internship facilities for students during their studies.

Signing with ACC-244 Joint Stock Company, students of the Faculty of Economics and Construction Management are guaranteed an internship location.

Dai Nam University signed a cooperation agreement with TSQ Vietnam Company.

9. Scholarship Policy – Tuition Fees

9.1. Commitment to not increase tuition fees throughout the study period

Tuition for Construction Economics, Construction Engineering, and Architecture is 11 million VND/semester. This tuition remains unchanged throughout the training period.

9.2 Diversity of scholarship policies

School Scholarships

In the 2024-2025 school year, Dai Nam University (school code DDN) has set aside a scholarship fund of 55 billion VND for new students of K18. The expanded scholarship policy with 07 new scholarship programs opens up many learning opportunities for new students, especially those with good academic performance and difficult family circumstances; contributing to creating motivation for learning, improving the quality of training high-quality human resources for society.

Specifically:

• Talent Scholarship 50-100% tuition fee for the entire course (worth from 60.5 - 576 million VND, depending on tuition fee of each major).
• Incentive Scholarship 100% tuition fee for semester 1, school year 2024 - 2025 (worth from 11 - 32 million VND, depending on tuition fee of each major).

In addition to 07 scholarship programs, DNU students also receive other valuable scholarships, such as: Annual scholarships, corporate scholarships, scholarships to study abroad in Taiwan, Japan, Korea, the United States, etc.

The 2+2 study abroad program in Taiwan (first 2 years at Dai Nam University, the next 2 years at Taiwan University) will provide a 100% tuition scholarship worth 100,000 NTD/year (equivalent to 80 million VND/year) and the company will provide a living allowance of 10,000 NTD/month (equivalent to 8 million VND/month); 3+1+1 program scholarship for students of Construction Economics, Construction Engineering (if needed) of Dai Nam University. After graduation, engineers will be accepted to work at leading technology companies in Taiwan with a starting salary of 1000 USD/month.
