Graduate students receive their diplomas in 2015.

Compared with the old regulations, the new regulations on the content of graduation diplomas and certificates have additions and adjustments.

Accordingly, the Minister will issue specific diploma and certificate forms for each level of education, qualification and training program. Specifically, the general content of diplomas and certificates under this regulation includes 8 items: title; name of diploma or certificate; name of issuing authority; information of the grantee; reference number and original book number; place name; name, title and signature of the competent authority; time of issuance.

In addition, each type of certificate also has its own content. Specifically, a junior high school diploma includes: place of birth, gender, ethnicity, school, year of graduation, graduation ranking and training form. A high school diploma includes: place of birth, gender, ethnicity, school, exam session, exam council. A university diploma includes: major, year of graduation, graduation ranking and training form.

Particularly, universities can add other contents to the diploma in accordance with their autonomy in printing diploma templates, including: the logo of the educational institution, patterns printed on diplomas and certificates.

In addition, according to this regulation, the directors of national universities and regional universities grant university degrees and certificates to students of training and research units under these universities. The rectors of member universities grant degrees to students trained at their units according to general regulations.

This regulation takes effect from October 24, 2015.
