Warm porridge number 6: 100 servings of porridge for children at the National Burn Institute and homeless people in Hanoi

As scheduled, every Thursday afternoon, members of the Dai Nam University Student Volunteer Team gather at the school, 56 Vu Trong Phung, to cook hot, nutritious porridge together. And tonight, January 7, 2015, 100 servings of porridge were delivered by volunteer students to children being treated at the Pediatrics Department, Hanoi National Burn Institute, and to homeless people.
Warm Porridge is a meaningful charity activity of the volunteer student team when winter comes. In a flash, “Warm Porridge” season two has gone through 5 episodes, equivalent to more than 400 porridge portions given to patients and the homeless. Regardless of rainy, cold days, or Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, the porridge is still regularly delivered to the circumstances that the program is aiming for.
The boys are responsible for preparing firewood and lighting the stove.
“Warm Porridge” No. 6 took place during the first semester final exam period of the whole school, but the volunteer students still tried to arrange their time and divide their work among themselves to achieve good results in the semester exam while still being able to cook meaningful pots of porridge to give to everyone.
When it gets dark, the porridge is cooked and canned.
100 servings of porridge are completed and ready to go.
Porridge No. 6 has reached the largest quantity since its launch, 100 servings of porridge, including 50 servings for the Burn Institute and 50 servings for the homeless in Hanoi.
Let's go give porridge together
