March has come, bustling and bustling. In the school yard, the sweet white flowers blooming in the gentle wind remind us of a very special anniversary, which is the founding day of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union on March 26. For more than 10 years, since its founding, all the school’s activities, big and small, have been invested in so that students can have a meaningful day.
Thanks to the movements organized by the school's Youth Union, generations of DNU students have grown up a lot over the years. We invite you to meet a secretary, a leading leader Tran Thu Thuy of class TA08-01, Faculty of Foreign Languages, to share with her our feelings on this occasion.
Interview: Hello Thu Thuy, how long have you been participating in the Youth Union movement? And how do you feel about this period of time?
Thu Thuy: I have participated for 4 years as a class secretary. Student life is the most beautiful time in everyone's life. Being entrusted with such a responsibility is an honor, being able to carry it out is a joy and being recognized by everyone is a happiness. So enjoy and accept it! Every time this happens, my friends, faculty members and teachers are busy preparing new, unique and impressive performances to perform. The days of practicing together are full of unforgettable memories.
Interview: From the union activities, what changes have you seen and what have you gained from participating in the movement?
Thu Thuy: In addition to helping us become confident and active, we also get to challenge ourselves and discover other qualities that we never thought we could do. Participating in a common movement helps members of a class or a department become more united, united, and loving towards each other. The school's activities are the bridge between students and teachers that is reconnected after stressful lessons in class. Perhaps, because I am always passionate about trying new things every time there are competitions, I force myself to always innovate, gradually becoming a driving force and wanting to do the best I can.
Interview: Making a movement requires love and volunteerism, but not all students are enthusiastic about participating. What difficulties did you encounter in the process of mobilizing your friends and how did the teachers in the faculty support you?
Thu Thuy: Pulling the string with students in the class to participate in activities is not simple, to pull it requires many factors and cannot fail to mention the efforts and dedication of teachers. Teachers are always a great source of encouragement for me to continue my role as a leader, the people who always stand behind to share joys and sorrows and create conditions for students to have a useful and fun playground.
Interview: As someone who has a long history of participating in movements and growing up through union activities, do you have any words you would like to share with the junior students on the occasion of March 26?
I want to send to the following students: never waste the moment of being a student, don't let it pass by meaninglessly, but make life more beautiful and colorful through activities, open communication and relationships with friends will help you grow up a lot.
Events such as “The Love Cake” organized by the school union are both fun and full of humanistic meaning. Or most recently, the program “Drop of Red Dai Nam”. Now you have become self-aware, so you voluntarily participate with enthusiasm and responsibility for yourself and the surrounding community. Thanks to that, the school union movement is growing stronger. This year is my final year of university, I have many feelings and regrets in it. I will always remember the time of studying and participating in events. It is these movements that have helped us students become more mature and bolder, not only at school but also in society.
Interview: Thank you Thu Thuy for the interview. Wish you always beautiful and successful.
